Q: How does this work in a circuit please

Hello There are obviously many applications for this - I use mine as an input to an arduino board. The supply to the arduino board is also fed to Vcc and Gnd on the magnetic sensor. The output of the sensor is used as an input to the arduino. When a permanent magnet is placed near the magnetic sensor the contact closes and the Vcc is fed to the output. When the magnet moves out of range the sensor opens. Hope this helps Rgds Steve S
