Fits really well in the rosewill 12 bay server case I think its the RSV3000? Regardless if you want a quality TR4(x) / SP3 heat sink for your threadripper /epyc and happen to be in a 4u case this thing is great. Its very quiet even under a decent load. I have it on a 1950x that sees moderate load from time to time, and it has no issues keeping it below 70C which about all I can ask for. As always Noctua just makes quality products. Easy to install and feels high quality. I have purchased piles of their coolers for various sockets and I will continue to do so.

The Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3 is a premium CPU cooler designed for AMD Ryzen. It was easy to install and fit perfectly on my motherboard and processor. The cooler works great, runs quietly, and effectively cools down my processor without any issues. The installation process was very straightforward, and the included instructions provided a step-by-step guide for a proper installation. The package comes with everything needed for installation, including the thermal paste.

Great cooler, bought the smallest one to fit in a 4u chassis with an sp3 and epyc and it’s noctua so of course it’s quiet, moves some good air and cool. 32 core epyc 7002 at 2.9ghz I don’t run it hard all the time but I have yet to get a thermal throttle. It fits in a 4 u chassis but also fits in my ancient nzxt m59 with a supermicro h11. Worked well til the server rack got in. Anyway good quality, solid design, and fits how it should!

I had an ATX motherboard with AMD 2950 thread ripper CPU and wanted to use it in a smaller pc case such as the Silver Stone GD08B. The motherboard fits as well as the Noctua NH-U9 TR4. However, it's a very tight fit and I would not recommend using an ATX motherboard in this case. I had to remove the two bottom case fans as well as the SSD cage in order to attach the SATA data cables to MB connections. Also, there is barely enough space between the cooler and the CD/DVD power and data cable connections. But, the Noctua cooler is fantastic!

Working quite well.. only giving 4 stars because as a first time Epyc installer instructions on a high quality 100 dollar heatsink were not that great.. but I figured it out and I think it's working quite well.. 64 cores, full load, hasn't gone over 72 C

Use this in a 4U server. The cooler is mounted on a 1920X (12c/24t). Tested with prime95 @ 100% load never tipped over 65c. Really impressed with the performance and how quiet the fans operate even under full power. Obviously your mileage will very depending on your cases airflow. The craftsmanship of these coolers is second to none and the mounting brackets are the easiest I’ve used by far. Only thing I’d like to add is that seeing these brown fans is like an insurance policy that your not going to have any troubles for a very long time. So don’t be thrown by the color, it’s a brown beacon of light in a ocean of terrible black/RGB fans.

Literally first time off setting the heatsink, I had a screw break in the heatsink. That when I notice the other 2 screw's thread is crap. Emailed them, they responded quickly, they asked for invoice and a picture of the heatsink, I showed........4 days so far with no response after that. That's not even taking in the fact that the whole process is literally stupid to do the off setting to begin with. Then there is the ram issues you gonna have with this heatsink. The ram slots closest to the socket will be blocked. Crap support for a overprice, crap heatsink. First and last time I buy from this company. Update: They sent me a new one after contacting them. Literally a week before warranty becomes expired; they honored it.

Using it on an Epyc Rome with 32 cores, that's 64 threads. The small profile is great, I tried a smaller fan unit but the average temp on the small one was 75C, but using this cooler the average is 50C!

最初にこれを購入。後に、140ｍｍファンタイプにしようと思い同じノクチュアの140ｍｍファンの物を購入しましたが装着できず。 あれこれ心変わりしてはいけないということですね。 肝心の性能ですが、デュアルファンですが静かです。ファイナルファンタジーの紅蓮のリベレーターベンチをループで一時間してもファンが高回転でうるさくなることはなかったです。フィンを触るとホンワリ暖かい感じでした。このサイズでオーバークロックメインで使用する人は殆どいないでしょうから通常使用には十分な性能と思います。オーバークロックには向かないでしょう。 最初は小さいので不安になり、前述の140ｍｍファンタイプに交換しようと思ったのですがこちらで十分でした。 スレッドリッパーの1950Xに使用しています。ASUSのZENITHには140ｍｍファンの物は装着できません。気をつけてください。 書き忘れましたが、オーバークロックに向かないと言うのはフィンに触れた時に上部はホンワカでしたが、下部はそこそこの熱がありました。高負荷が掛かる仕事には向かないでしょう。 高負荷を掛けるのなら、よりグレードの高いクーラーを選んでください。

As per the headline. Fantastic cooler and delivery is very quick, probably a day or two.

Great stuff. I'm not overclocking and it keeps my CPU about 50'C. It is a little bit big, covering my memory slots, but those fans can be lifted up a bit and the cooling is still great. With the tools and thermal paste in a small bag, super convenient and easy to install. Recommended!

Perfect for my Threadripper Pro 3945wx but sadly I can not change the orientation but no wonder on a massive Threadripper socket. And it wa an good and used deal from Noctua for a good price!
