Dyed green water buffalo knife handle scales imported from India. NOTE ON COLOR: The dye only penetrates about 3/32" deep into the piece. We suggest you sand from the side that will go next to the tang, to preserve as much outer green as possible.
As a very dense, organic knife handle material, some horn may come slightly warped. This can be fixed by heating in an oven at 200 degrees F (100C), and clamping in a vise until cool. DO NOT BOIL the dyed horn, as the dye can leech out.
Sold as a pair. Each is approximately 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8". As an organic material slight differences in shape and appearance are normal.
