Great messenger bag style binder
Best binder for middle school if your child's school requires them to use loose leaf paper rather than notebooks. The outside large pocket is great for the school issued iPad and the book for reading. The zippered small front pocket is deep and can hold scissors, colored pencils, index cards, and post its. CaseIt has a very similar binder with D rings inside that I found in BJs (it was even cheeper after the school started). This one that I bought on Amazon is still in use starting on its 4th month. I purchased a gel padded shoulder strap to replace the original one because the binder gets quite heavy and the strap needs to be padded. We started with 4" CaseIt but after receiving it we realized it's too big and bulky. We quickly bought a 3" one from Walgreens while waiting for this one, but it was also inferior. If your kids take care to clean their binder from no longer needed sheets and past units, 2" binder is all they need. The 2" binder is also larger inside, which is counterintuitive. The reason is that while the enclosed space is larger the bigger the binder is, the space for the sheets gets shorter and narrower. So you can't put page dividers and folders without them being somewhat stuck when closing the 4" and 3" binders. The bigger binders also may not fit in the school lockers. The only issue with this type of binders vs. regular plastic binders is that it is not easy to write when the sheets are in the binder. Your student will have to take out the sheet they are writing on. But it is a small inconvenience for the ability to be super compact and mobile in the short break between classes. And the iPad is super safe inside as well.

Perfect for school
There is storage for everything, including a chrome book. Easy to carry as well. We got the red one and the color is off, it has a white accent not silver/gray. Very functional able.

The pocket is perfect to keep her chrome book safe
Thin material but works really well. My middle schooler stuffs it full and even has a few loose composition books and it holds it. I don't expect it to last too long if she keeps using it that way. The pocket is perfect to keep her chrome book safe. Much easier for her to carry all her supplies to her classes.

1st Timer-A keeper Reference
Only slight complaint is not being able to zip up my Asus 14” Laptop. My fault, wasn’t paying attention, I think it only fits like 10-13”. I’ll make do, it’s for my telework days at work. I wish I had one of these in high school instead, I was a school-girl. I love the shoulder with or without the moveable comfort mount on the strap & sturdy handles.

Made my son popular 😂
My son's school stopped allowing backpacks in classrooms and he was struggling with carrying his laptop and other supplies. This was perfect. The laptop section was more secure and safer than the bag the school had provided so I no longer worry about if it gets dropped. The strap makes it easy to carry. Even after carrying it for months, my son has other kids come up and ask him where to get one and he has even made new friends over this. He is not into being "brand name" kid but he enjoys having a very functional popular item.

Great quality for the price
This is exactly what I was looking for! I created a video game case with the games in the binder and the tablet fits perfectly in the laptop portion! The materials seem to be holding up. For the price, I am pleased with the quality.

Ditch the backpack
Purchased one of these last year for my middle schooler to replace the 3-ring binder they were suggesting the kids use. It lasted the entire school year and held the Mac air book plus all other binders and folders that were needed. I like that everything is zipped up so papers, pencils, etc. don't fall out. Purchased another one for this school year! If it hadn't been going to middle school ever day I'm sure it would have lasted much longer.

Overall great product, but needs one improvement
Overall, this is a great alternative to a full blown backpack, which my son is not allowed to carry during the school day. We liked that he could zip the binder to keep all of his paper and pencil’s secure. He doesn’t have a laptop, so he uses the laptop section to hold his full size folders, and the smaller sipper section to hold his composition notebooks. They work great. The only problem I have is with the binder rings. They are not ‘heavy duty’, so every time he unzips it, the rings are open. He has to put all of the pages back into the rings before he can continue to find the subject he needs inside the binder. If Case-It would increase the quality of the rings, this would be a 5-star. I don’t regret the purchase...it still works to keep my son from carrying several loose binders, notebooks, and folders all day. I just wish it was a little better. He in the other hand...Loves it!

Amazing Binder That Is Sturdy And Has Tons Of Storage Space
This was one of the best purchases I've ever made. There is an impossible amount of storage in this monstrously big binder, including some very handy pockets/storage areas on the front. I take this thing with me to many places, and not only does it hold a LOT of papers and other art supplies, it also takes a lot of abuse with minimal wearing. If you're on the fence about this binder, go for it - you won't regret the purchase
