DEWALT Mechanics Tools Kit and Socket Set, 1/4" & 3/8" Drive, SAE, 108-Piece (DWMT73801)

I bought this DEWALT mechanics tool set to work on my Ninja 400, and it’s been perfect. Every socket and ratchet feels solid, and the build quality is top notch and nothing cheap about it! The range of sizes covers everything I’ve needed so far for basic maintenance and adjustments. The case keeps everything organized and easy to grab when I’m working in the garage. If you want a reliable, durable toolkit for your bike, this is a great choice.

Wow! such a beautiful set of tools, and I got them at a great price. Imagine going from some no name branch of sockets to these, like I did. It's a game changer. The quantity of ratchet teeth make it feels so much smoother than the old set I had with maybe half the quantity of teeth. That old set also had a ratchet direction switch that is plastic, and had recently broken, causing it to seem to be even less responsive when ratcheting any bolts or screws...so I am now feeling like any future socket tooling needs are going to be "fun" versus a chore. I know that sounds exaggerated, but I am actually looking forward to using them whenever possible. In fact, a recent garage ceiling rack that I put in using that old set, which made me feel the need even more to get this new solid set, I went out and tightened all the nuts/bolts with this new set just to try it out. LOL. It was like doing a "Home Depot dad" board game. It was a DIY guy's version of a little bit of fun. Silly, but true. One other thing, with my old set, it had a basic tool box that barely and very loosely held the sockets and the wrench in it, so they always fell out. With this Dewalt set, it it a lot more secure to hold each piece, BUT I can tell that pulling a piece or two out does loosen some of the other pieces very randomly, but not so hard to notice that and push them back in place before closing the tool box. It's not perfect, but it's a LOT better than my old, basic set.

I’ve been using dewalt for my tools for about 4 years since their tools are decent quality without being insanely expensive. These tools are great quality and has a variety of helpful parts and sockets to get your project done. I needed these to replace my motorcycle battery and it was a breeze with the tools included here. Greatly recommend if you are looking for some additions to your current toolbox.

Great quality product Came complete well worth the money I looked for several hours reading and watching a ton of reviews sooo many mechanic tool set options perfect basic with a bit of everything set. Absolutely recommend this set for anyone needed to revamp or replace tools that have gone missing like mine.

So I was driving across the ship Canal bridge on a particularly rainy day here in Seattle when my driver side windshield wiper stopped working. The Subaru dealership said they "might" fix it for free, but it certainly wouldn't be same day and if it wasn't free that place charges $125-200 an hour. So I got on Amazon, did a little poking around and got these delivered to me same day about 6 hours later. Popped that cap off and used the 14mm 3/8 to tighten that bolt on my ‘09 Forester and was able to complete all my errands that evening. Well worth the $70 this cost me and now I have an awesome tool set with a lifetime warranty that I will use on several other projects. (And that's how Gen X uses YouTube. Learn how to fix things instead of watching "cringe" videos)

It's a pretty basic set, worth the money, the sockets are the correct sizes too.

Although I’ve owned many tools from as far back as 1969, recently was transporting a small vehicle cross country back home. Easier to get a basic kit delivered to my starting point, just to have on board. Had to purchase a couple of pliers and short hammers ‘just in case’ but that was no big deal. The DEWALT tools are very good quality for the price, and they paid for themselves four days in when I had to change an alternator at one of my stopovers. Smart Money for a small case of the basics- even worked well with a cordless power driver! Liked them so much I got another case for the friend who worked on the vehicle w/me during that stopover! He was equally impressed! Money WELL Spent.
