Molle Platform Solutions - JK Jeep Front Overhead Hard Top Molle Panel "Spod compatible"

Unique item and design, however a little disappointed overall with the product. It looks cool, but it’s odd to me that the front is screwed into the metal and the rear is secured with zip ties to the roll bar. For the life of me I can’t figure out a way to get it to stop rattling even with the zip ties pulled as hard as possible. Easy install, however, pictures go a long way on installation instructions. Secondly, sure, it says molle compatible, but I’ve tried about 10 different pouches and none of them fit except for one. And these pouches weren’t just average Blackhawk pouches from Walmart, some were tactical tailor, tyr tactical, voodoo tactical, and others were ones I had left over from the military. Trying to fit them on the platform was probably more of a pain in the butt than installing the platform. I’ll probably just end up securing some pouches with zip ties. It’s a strong product though, very solid. I don’t have a Spod yet but I’m sure it will work as advertised. So, in short, not overly impressed with it, but I’ll still run with it.

This is a perfect solution for overhead mounting, if you don’t have a roll cage. The install isn’t quite as easy as it seems, but anyone with even a little experience can install this.The only thing I recommend is to bolt down the rear also. I used 2 self tapping screws.This thing is STURDY. Absolutely rock solid.I mounted my CB and Ham radio and nothing moves or rattles.

I love this panel. I used it to mount my vhf/uhf and cb radios. I’ll also be mounting a scanner when I get it, along with a few molle pouches for storage. The directions were a touch vague, I emailed the owner and he emailed me right back. Very helpful.Installation note: the front of the panel presses up underneath the rubber seal, if the holes don’t match, bend out the pieces to match the same angle as the metal. Use the sun visors to help center it before marking your drill holes. There is a helpful video on YouTube by the channel ‘JK Gear and Gadgets’

Looks great and works great for the CB to get it off the floor and out of the way. I had some trouble mounting it but emailed them and respond quickly and even offered for me to call. Will definitely buy more of their products.

Easy to install other than install kit was missing form box but I got it figured out. Now just time to see what AI want to put on it. CB for sure and other things.

Very easy to install. There is actually an install video on YouTube that was very helpful. Solid materials. The only thing I would say is worrisome is that the cut out closes to the windshield creates the very thin tab on the end kind of flimsy. Other then that I have my CB Radio mounted and doing a great job!

The item came fast and the box was not damaged. The powdercoat was perfect and not damaged. It was very easy to install however the zip ties to secure the end over the sound bar did not work so I chose not to use them. Overall I'm very happy with this overhead platform.

Fits great. I’ll be able to mount radios up here easily
