G9 LED Warm White

These are well made and give a lot more light than the old halogens. Being dimmable can be as bright or dim as you want. Make sure though that your dimmer is SUITABLE FOR LED's otherwise you may have problems. So far have using these now for a couple of months without any problems at all

...and an almost perfect match colour-wise for a halogen bulb. Because these LEDs are such a good match it means I was able to swap 3 of the 4 wall lights from halogen to these LEDs and still have the dimmer switch work...they are not such a good match when dimmed though as the halogen bulb goes much dimmer. Never-the-less when not dimmed they match really well and, as I also have a pull switch on each pair of wall lights, I can simply switch off one pair instead of dimming. With a correct LED dimmer switch I think they will be near perfect with all 4 as LED. Can't comment on longevity yet as they are still new

I have used these in an adjustable "two-headed" reading light over one of our sofas as the halogens we had before were of course very inefficient, but also made the whole metal fittings very hot so it was difficult to move the head positions once switched on. These fit nicely and work pretty well with the old dimmers - slight flickering in some positions of the dimmer but nothing serious. Also as common with old dimmers, they don't switch off the LEds completely but I have added a foot switch to the lead which I find more convenient than twiddling dimmers anyway. As the 6 watt rating seems to me to be slightly optimistic, they are best left at the maximum setting for reading.

Third attempt to find replacement bulbs for ceiling unit with dimmer switch. (First lot too dim -- 1.8w; 2nd lot not dimmable.) Hard to fit -- needed a firmer push than felt safe. Potentially nice bright 'daylight' white light, which is what I needed. But not really dimmable as only two states -- dim and bright. At 'bright' they flicker unacceptably. Very disappointed, will send them back.

Product arrived very quickly. Bulbs are fitted to our 2 new bedside lamps and fit well into the sockets (firm push needed). Good, constant brightness from such a tiny bulb, no problems reading in bed. Cannot yet comment on durability as only been operating for 12 days but well pleased to date

I bought these to replace two 25W halogen bulbs in a artificial stove with a living flame effect. It has got a dimmer on it but I am using it on max power all the time and although I have no empirical proof that they are as bright as the halogens they appear to be at least as good. They are no issues with flickering or other strange behaviours so they work great for me.

These bulbs flickered at most dimmer settings. Full brightness was also disappointing compared to the previous incandescent bulbs. Returned for refund and brought LAP G9 Capsule LED instead. The LAP bulbs had no flicker and were brighter. Worth the extra £4 paid.

Bought for the fantasia mayfair ceiling fan lights with dimmer. The bulbs would cycle from max to min but when switched off where still illuminated very low but obviously you are not going to be able to sleep with the bulbs on. So they do not work with the mayfair fantasia dimmer control. However they would probably dim with a different dimmer switch. To be fair to this company their after sales service was excellent and they did supply me with a full refund as the bulbs did not do what I wanted them to do. But not their fault.
