These gloves have been excellent for helping me to reduce the risk of burns while reaching in and out of the oven. I like that the gloves have dexterity and also that they can be washed (not dried). I just turn them inside out to wash them otherwise it can get too wet in the fingertips. I had previously burned my arms a few times on an akward oven entry, where I had to maneuver awkwardly in order to get my bake in and out of the oven. The grip is good, formidable, easier than the mittens since it’s at a weird angle the oven.

Excellent quality. It was just what I needed to cover my entire forearm and the silicone on the hands doesn't transmit heat like some others do. I am 4'11 so I don't know how they would fit a tall person, but they go right up to my elbows. I still have them in perfect condition. So long now that I cant remember when I bought them. It is now July 2025. I use then when I bake and I machine wash them when they get dirty.

I had a pair of thick oven mitts that came midway up between wrist and elbow. Although they were the longest available at the time I bought them, I still occasionally (clumsily) managed to touch the oven door with the skin above the mitt. Then one day, trying to grasp a tray of food from the oven, it slipped out of my mitted hand, overturned, and the food spilled all over the place, making a huge mess. This was a game-changer. Giving it some thought, I reasoned that the problem was that these were mitts and not gloves -- they had a pocket for the thumb and another large pocket for the other fingers. That and the thickness was what caused my accident, the mitts hampered my dexterity and ability to grasp the tray. I needed gloves with all 5 fingers. Luckily I found these, a new product since I last bought oven mitts. They are actual gloves with fingers, and longer. They come up to below my elbow and ... they fit like the image illustrates, easy to slip in and out of. Now I can correctly grasp hot trays and pans from the oven without dropping them and there is no fear of burning my arms. I hesitated due to the price, and thought maybe they looked awkward ... but every time I use them I'm thankful to have them.

These are very nice, and very long. They are great for frying on, cleaning and oiling our blackstone without getting splattered with grease. However, the hands are not very large. They work for us, but because of this likely would not work for everyone. For the price I am very happy with them and they suit our needs.

Love them and the length is perfect so my arms don’t burn.

Past my elbow. Been burning myself a lot lately especially when baking a pizza in a floor height oven. Dog ate my old ones.... True story. Want to give a tip based on the reviews I read prior to ordering. The gloves consist of 2 layers. Silicone shell and fleece lined inside, joined only at the top. So, yes, my fingers especially my thumb, initially could not penetrate far into the finger spaces. This is something a lot of people mention. I simply took two of my thickest handled wood spoons (the handle end) and forced the fleece "fingers" all the way to the top of the silicone fingers. That did it. Would have been happier with a different color, but that is minor.....

I've needed these gloves for decades. Fantastic for baking in high temperatures. Being able to use with fingers makes it so much easier removing baking from an oven. And gloves go up high on the arm. Love them!
