Bad Threading
Do not buy, we wasted quite a bit of pipe, threads were not consistent. Plant Manager and Fabrication guys were very dissatisfied with the Steel Dragon 6790 Pipe Threading Machine. They ended up renting a Rigid. Went through the process of getting the pipe threading machine returned. The truck never showed up.

better than the hand operated unit, just not what I expected
Thread cut is too deep and not tapered to fit a fitting. Have tried different settings in order to improve but not real happy. It does cut threads just not as nice as my hand operated threader does.Release is not consistent. Sometimes it stops threading at the end of the pipe and other times it continues on 1/4 inch too far. Have had to cut off the end of the threads to make the connection work.
