This collagen is almost tasteless, and dissolves easily in my hot coffee and also in a cold glass of milk. The standard serving size is 2 scoops, which is about 3-4 tablespoons. I use one scoop in about 4 oz. of coffee, and then later in day the other scoop in 4 oz. of milk, and while I can tell something’s there, it’s ok to drink. Unlike some protein powders I have bought in past that I could not stomach. No stevia or other artificial sweeteners which I don’t like, so I will buy this again. Taking it for at least 6 months to see if it is helpful for my thinning hair. Time will tell.

I've been using this product for at least 5 years every single day. I like that this specific product has 5 types of collagen along with completing amino acids to make it a complete protein. I have gone through several periods of significant weight loss (and gain) so my poor skin has had to have more elasticity than is reasonable for a 70 yr old. The collagen may not be entirely responsible for my skin quality - I do other smart things too - but I always tell people when they compliment me on looking younger than my age that this is the number 1 thing I do and that you must be consistent and willing to notice small improvements (or not declining skin quality) over time. I also think this has helped with muscle quality and retention as even now my muscles look and respond very well - more like a much younger person. Have nothing but good things to say about this product.

Yum! I have the golden milk flavor. I mix it was 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a bit of cardamom for extra flavor. It's the perfect guilt free treat before bed. It does have the stevia aftertaste, so if you're not used to natural sweeteners or you're really averse you may not want to get the flavored kinds. I specifically wanted a warm drink with health benefits to rotate in with tea and this is really hitting the spot.

This product is pretty good. It dissolves well in cold and hot liquids. I put it in my coffee and it doesn’t lump up. It doesn’t change the taste either when you have coffee with cream and sugar, the one I have is flavorless. It does have a slight taste I can’t describe. If it’s mixed within a smoothie or something, you can’t tell. I started taking it because of a knee injury. I must say my knee does feel better. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it. I do think it’s making a difference. Highly recommend

I ordered this collagen supplement to help my skin and hair. I have noticed my skin is not as plump as it once was in my younger years. I have also noticed a bit of sagging here and there since losing a significant amount of weight. Along with that, I have noticed hair thinning. I have never had thin hair in my life. This supplement has five different types of collagen. When researching collagen products, that was not easy to find. This product is a little more pricey than others on the market and you get a small amount compared to many other collagen supplements for the price point. But the collagen is from clean sources and this lab passes and exceeds GMP lab standard testing and an independent lab testing for purity. It doesn’t clump easily and it doesn’t really have a taste. It is more noticeable in water, so I put it in my morning coffee. The taste in water reminds me of whey (the liquid portion of milk). I have been taking this supplement daily for two weeks and I haven’t noticed any difference thus far. It should be noted that I started on half the recommended dose and still had some upset stomach and nausea in the first week of taking this product. Once I have used the entire bag, I will come back with a more thorough review of how the product works. Update: I am on the second bag now. I haven’t seen any extraordinary growth. It seems my hair is shedding less. Related to COVID-19, I was unable to get my hair done and started flat ironing it weekly on high heat. That thinned it terribly. Since I stopped that, it seems that my hair is recovering and slightly thicker. I am not sure this is due to the use of BioTrust. As previously stated in my first review, I become nauseated when I use more than a 1/2 scoop per dose. I only use it once daily by mixing it in my first coffee of the morning. I find it dissolved better in hot liquids and I am unable to taste it. I started using BioTrust in April 2020. I will continue to use it. I don’t think it can hurt! I also take a supplement called BioSil to help with collagen production in my own body and used 1/4 of a teaspoon of MSM daily as well to help with growth and thinness. Update: August 9, 2020- After approximately more than three months of using this product, I can say my hair texture is getting back to its original smooth, shiny bouncy hair. My hair is growing. Again, no extraordinary growth noted, but my hair definitely is improving. I am still taking approximately 1/2 scoop daily. Sometimes a little more. I haven't noticed any skin changes yet. Update: 9/18/2020. I am still using approximately a half scoop of this product daily. I have tried several times to titrate up to the recommended dose of one scoop daily and I have been unable to manage it. I start to feel sick. However, all is well. I am doing just fine using a half scoop daily in my first morning cup of coffee. My hair seems to be improving slowly. The texture is going back to its original softness and it seems not to shed as much. I will continue to use this product and update.

ok so I have been using this product for a week now. I ll update the review when the entire bag is done.. I will buy another bag at that point. 2 things right off the bat that are annoying. then the good stuff. 1. it clumps 2. it smells it says it does not do either of those things.. but it does and this makes it hard to take.. well harder to take . I just plug my nose and chug I take this product in a glass of OJ and take my supplements with it. those two things make it more difficult for me to take the supplements.. because its pretty clumpy . I thought i might rectify the clump issue with one of those cream frappe things.. but it only makes the oJ and collagen foamy.. so it becomes foamy and stinky.. not helpful I will break down and put it in a smoothie of some kind at some point. I m sure. I will continue to take this because it helps out quite a bit I can feel it in my knee and my elbow. both have issues I have tendanosis and the knees are just creeky from hiking and running. It has made my joints less achey and I also sleep much better since taking this .. which is something I read about collagen - so bonus.. !! that in and of itself is enough to buy this product. so far my skin still looks old and hasnt gained any elasticity.. but Im older so whatever who cares. this so far has been beneficial. I ll write more in a month.
