Serves it’s purpose well

This is a very nice cue ball holder. The construction feels solid, and it seems it will last. I may replace the carabiner with a locking one, but that's only because I ride a motorcycle and I am worried with the cue ball and case flopping itself off. Mostly my own paranoia. The hook seems fine for normal usage and has already held up for a couple weeks worth of rides. My only gripe is the color scheme and logo, in that I wish they would offer one without the 8 ball logo and some different colors. This is personal taste but for me the red/black and logo look silly on my leather cases. I was able to remove the 8 ball logo by puling the stitches, there is a no glue and a hardly noticeable flat spot. Still I would prefer all black, or brown and no red. Regardless though it is a great little holder and it does what it says for a very reasonable price.

The Ballsak broke within two weeks, however, I really like the design of the product. The loop that holds the ballsak to the caribiner broke. Luckily, I noticed that it had broken and didn't lose my expensive measles cue ball. I would like a replacement, but alas, Amazon says that it is beyond the return window. I plan on calling them to argue that point. I contacted the inventor and owner of the company about the quality of the strap and the fact that it broke. He graciously sent a replacement with a new version of the Ballsak and the quality of the strap is much improved. I would recommend the new version of the product now that they have strengthened the strap.

Edit: 4/22/19 I recently ordered another one as a gift and noticed the Ballsak logo within the 8, where as mine came with the 8 intact. Not sure if I got a knock off or they changed their production runs. Just an oddity. I still love it and use it when ever I go play at a bar. Perfect size for a cue ball. Soft lined interior. Rigid exterior. Not sure how rigid, as I haven't tried to crush it. My case can't fit a cue ball inside, so this is a must have.

Great small ballsak, if you have more than one ball (like most of us do) it just looks visually odd that the one hangs lower than the other, so occasionally you will get odd looks when the other player inspects them up close. One issue I have found is that if you attach them to the outside of your pool stick case, they can bump into things and the resulting discomfort can be intense, so watch where you are swinging your twig and berries.

This item has one flaw that makes it worthless, otherwise it's a pretty cool product. The way the sack is attached to the clip is a thin piece of nylon that will quickly fray and eventually break. I have used this item for a very short time and already it's to the point where I can't trust it not breaking and loosing my cue ball as a result, I don't see any way of replacing that thin piece of nylon. I've attached a photo. This product has recently been improved, the company was nice to send a replacement.

I bought this to keep my aramith tournament ball somewhere other than the only pocket on my 2x4 cue case. What I like about this case is that it not only frees up my case's pocket, but it's interior has a soft lining that keeps the ball from getting scratched and cleans off some of the chalk marks. The zipper and all stitching on this are well done, I've ordered 4 more of these for my teammates and have yet to get one with a loose thread or a busted zipper.

love it..... but! Wished it came in other colors. This is my second one, the first one (along with my cue ball) was stolen right off my cue case! Not very nice. I ordered a second one, this time I carry it in my handbag! I really love the product, carries the cue so it doesn't get damaged or scratched, perfect for travel games or tournament practice, or a night at a ratty pool joint place with cruddy balls.
