There is no indication that the FF 400 series is NBC (nuclear, biological or chemical) rated. 3M no longer produces a CBRNE cartridge to fit the 3-pronged 1/4 rotation style filter media tha this mask accepts

Q: is there any way to attach this mask to an air supplied respirator?

You can get a hose to attach to the ports on the side of the mask. If the hose will attach to your "air supply," then yes.

Q: I would like to know what kind of filter would I need for spraying lacquer? Does the filter need a cartridge holder? It's not clear on the site.
