DEWALT has been my go-to brand for power tools for years, and this grinder continues to uphold the company’s reputation for delivering top-notch, durable, and reliable tools. Let’s talk about the performance—this grinder is a powerhouse! With its 8,000 RPM motor, it easily tackles even the toughest cutting and grinding jobs. Whether I’m grinding metal, cutting through concrete, or working on DIY projects, this grinder has the power I need to get the job done efficiently. It doesn’t stall, and it stays cool even after extended use, which is something I really appreciate in a tool. One feature I absolutely love is the Quick-Change Wheel Release. As someone who’s used grinders that require a wrench to change the wheels, I can tell you that this tool-free wheel removal is a game-changer. It makes switching out wheels incredibly easy, saving me so much time and frustration. The tool-free guard adjustment is another convenience that adds to the overall ease of use—no need to struggle with a wrench when adjusting the guard position, which makes it so much quicker to move between tasks. DEWALT also thought about comfort and control with this grinder. The 2-finger trigger switch with the lock-off button makes it easy to activate and provides a more comfortable grip. I especially appreciate the 2-position side handle, which gives me more control and comfort, particularly during longer projects. I can easily switch positions to ensure I’m always in the most ergonomic and efficient stance. I also love that this is a bare-tool model. Since I already have other DEWALT 20V tools, I can use the same batteries, which is both cost-effective and convenient. I don’t have to worry about buying extra batteries or chargers, which is a huge plus in my book. The 4.64-pound weight is just right—not too heavy to make it cumbersome but sturdy enough to give me the balance and control I need. The construction feels solid, and I have no doubt this grinder will hold up for years to come. DEWALT always makes tools that are built to last, and this grinder is no exception. This DeWalt 20V Grinder is a great value for DIY or hobbyist use. It has a comfortable grip and works great on most tasks. Its can cut through sheet metal and rebar fairly easily (with a quality cut-off wheel). Also, with the grinder disc, makes it easy to clean off burrs and other jagged edges. It is fairly compact, not as small as corded grinder, but this is offset by the portability.

Great tool for good price

What a workhorse! I read several reviews for this 'light-weight' grinder, but it ground work to dust! I was grinding a soft, 3mm punched plate to form a cutting edge, and it did the job great. It did go through two batteries to get there, but it did the job and never backed down. I would not recommend this for grinding over 6mm. Great tool and highly recommend but bring extra batts.

A little stupid, and not super powerful. It is clearly not a flagship unit, you can tell by how rough and unrefined the torque delivery is. But for me, I rarely use an angle grinder. I didn't need 60v, an XR, or anything over the top. It's easy to handle, and has good ergonomics. It takes material out with absolute ease, my only complaint is how unrefined it seems, very clearly not their primary concern of a tool. Plenty power for me though.

DeWalt is the BEST, stick with the brand names, you can't go wrong. I know there are cheap knockoffs, try to stay away from them. If you only need a tool for some small jobs , I guess the cheaper ones are ok. I use my grinder every day, so I need the reliability from DeWalt.
