Dell Laptop Latitude D520 Notebook - 1.66GHz - 1GB RAM - 60GB Hard drive ? DVD+CDRW - Windows 7 Home Premium

I ordered specifically because it said it was running Windows 7 which is what I had to have to run a software program. It came in with Windows 10! Why would they do that? But they did ship me a disc to load Windows 7 back on as the operating system. I am very satisfied now.

Has worked for over a year now. Great for keeping in touch (Facebook), knowledge of what's going on in the world (tv news useless) and watching a Netflix once in a while. The Microsoft Office is installed, McAfee Security, CCleaner some games and Windows DVD maker. I added Norton just because I feel safer with it and Wfi. I already had a card to get internet did not try to connect without it so don't know if it is a must have. At the time I received it with Windows 7 but from what I've read that doesn't always happen now.

This is what you might call an expensive electronic paperweight at this point. First, it does not come with Windows 7 as indicated. It comes with Windows 10 which after 2 days of use has already failed to function properly, but I believe that to be a common issue regardless of where you get your computer. The purported Windows 7 repair disc that was sent did to supposedly fix the problem did absolutely nothing. There are minimal programs that I can use the computer for, but it is not what I needed. But I guess you can't expect a quality product at a junk price, but that is what I got. Guess I will have to look for something else, and spend more money I can not afford to spend. Live and learn.

There was an Admin Password that got in the way of what I needed this computer for

Great little laptop, I bought it mostly as a portable DVDs player with some back up Internet use. It arrived very well packed, clean and in great condition. Ran well out of the box, but since it is so easy to upgrade I added some memory (less than $25) and it's really impressive! I waited a while to rate it unti I had run it through all its paces, and after several weeks I have no regrets.

They lost my order. When I finally recived them one had busted speekers and a dead battery. They also don't tell you that the duty's are just as much as the laptops.
