Works as it should
Works as intended, seems pretty durable. Quality is pretty good. It does the job and increases the audio of the microphone. Pretty clear no noticeable gain effects. Easy to use, plug and play.

Absolutely amazing buy!
Just a heads up anyone using this in conjunction with a rode ntg2 microphone (shotgun) you will need to run this from phantom power from your tascam or sound recorder device and then also have a a battery in your ntg2 to power that or you'll get nothing back. That being said, absolutely amazing product when used this way! My recording level on my Dr-40 has gone from 85 (Maximum on the device is 99) to around 67! And i always land between -3db and -12db! One occasion on set i had my tascam's level set to 35 and it was picking up the actor at -6db bang on with this fethead!!!

Love it
I've got this and I've also got the Behringer knock-off product so I've been able to compare them. I'm no audafile, but I prefer the recordings I make with this thing over the Behringer alternative.

Turns up to 11
If you are recording Uber low signal sounds on an appropriate microphone this is a brilliant upgrade. I'm mostly using it with contact mics. Recommend accessory.
