I’m 6 foot tall, 210 pounds, with 18 inch pipes. This supports me and the weight that I need to lift to maintain those pipes. It’s very stable. I recommend it.

For me (I'm 6'-2") the positioning is just right for arm work. Comfortable padding and, while not quite full on gym quality, this bench is sturdy enough for a home gym. In my view, the best lower priced preacher curl bench out there.

This is a good and sturdy bench. Strong and well made. Easy to put together. However, it would be a perfect bench if the adjustment point was below the curl pad NOT beneath the seat. Due to this setup, those with longer arms will not be able to use this bench because, when fully extending your arms, the curl bar will hit the top of the bar frame. My arms are ALMOST too long. Another half inch and I would NOT be a happy customer. No, I'm not a monkey! =)~ All this would be avoided if they had simply placed the adjustment point below the curl pad. FORTUNATELY, I AM a happy customer!!! Heh-heh. But they get 4 stars (not 5) due to bad packaging, which resulted in my bench having several areas of paint scraped off of it. But it does come with a little bottle of silver paint. Wow. Good on them! :)

The preacher bench is a must have for your home gym. It’s an exercise that you cannot live without to develop your biceps and get huge. I search for several and I’m glad I chose this one. It was easy to put together strong stable does not wobble and hold a lot of weight.

The metal support that the arm pad attaches to is not level the holes are even but the bracket itself is crooked, and makes one arm out a little more then the other and very disappointing. Save your money get something else.

I ordered this for my husband. It is exactly what he was looking for. The quality and ease of assembly were above my expectations. I had considered getting one without the seat and having him use a chair, but I am so glad I decided to pay the extra for the seat. It is well worth it. He loves it!

Excellent piece of equipment. I built a home gym and was referred to this company's products by a well known personal trainer. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy.

This bench is sturdy and serves me well, however it receives light use from me. The top section foam roll fells like it will fail long before anything else. Overall it’s a solid bench in every way . However I feel it you are really going to work this unit daily with aggressive routines you will be replacing the top section IMHO otherwise it’s so much better than an arm blaster. With a better top section. Thicker plywood and more dense foam it could be a commercial unit as far as the frame is concerned and seat. Good deal for the money just expect to upgrade the top section at some point yourself.
