Zebco Rhino Spincast Fishing Reel, 3 Bearings, Instant Anti-Reverse with Smooth, Precisely-Aligned Gears

Paired this reel with an I think old 90’s model Ryno tough pole 5’6” medium lite. Looks good and has a great feel can’t wait to catch some fish

I really, really like this reel. I had one for 10 years or so and it gave out this spring. Always liked that one, so decided to get this one. This newer one feels even more smooth, solid than the first (although, that one was a good 10 years old). Instant, no-miss pick-up with 8lb test, nice long casts through the medium action Ugly Stick, medium-speed retrieve (admittedly, the retrieve could be a little faster), and no-tangle winding onto the spool. Casts just as far, if not farther, with a small Rebel Crawdad that's 1/10th oz than my brother-in-law with his fancy $200 baitcasters and spinning reels. I think there are two sizes of this Rhino Spincast. The one I bought is the smaller, fits perfectly into my medium large hand and seems perfectly matched to the 6' medium action Ugly Stick. I fish maybe 10 times per year, including one week straight vacationing on a Michigan lake for largemouth bass, smallies, crappie, rockbass, bluegills, shellcrackers (redear sunfish)....anything in the lake, really, mostly with spinning baits and plugs. This reel suits me just fine for the standard stuff.

they have made this product stronger used to have the deprees button that would collapse no more its smooth and feels well built. since i owned them in the past i know that it casts smooth and wil handle most of the fish i will deal with. As yet havent had the opputunity to check on the new bait alert feature but im sure it will get a workout soon. If yu can think of a spincast as more then the Zebco 303 or 202 yu had as i kid i recommend the system matched rod and reel i never regretted having one or more and im sure once yu try yu wont either

Reel arrived early and was extremely well packaged. Zebco reels are built tough and this one is no exception. It operates extremely smooth with the bearings and should last for years. Love this reel and definitely would purchase another one.

Bought this June 1 but my son just got around to using it. Very disappointing. I have two others like just this and they’re great. Got one for my younger son and it won’t stop going in reverse even when anti reverse is on and causes bad backlashes inside the housing. Something seems like it was wrong in manufacturing and of course, I’m past return window.

Smooth easy to cast for my 7 year old grandson. He is casting down our long hallway (Arizona hot outside) and he nails it with great control. Nice balance good size for small hands. Would buy again.

Haven't used it yet, but it is not the same Rhino that I bought 2 of in 2007. Time will tell.

This is my all time favorite closed face reel I can cast across the lake with this reel !!!
