Q: Is this the same product I have been buying for years...Matrix Biolage thermal active setting spray, in a bottle with a dark blue cap?

Hello! We have updated and changed the packaging appearance of our products. There has not been any change to this formula, it is still the same product. The old version of this product did have a blue cap. We hope this information helps

Q: Is this safe on color treated hair? I have silver blonde hair.

Yes it is safe, but i found if very stiff, it's not easy to comb through after spraying your hair. I wanted to use it with hot rollers to keep the curl. I sprayed it on and then when running a comb through it before putting the roller in it was super stiff so the comb wouldn't go through it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Q: For anyone who has wavy hair that likes to curl it - Are you using this on wet hair, drying hair and then curling OR spraying on dry hair then curling

I have some natural curl in my hair. I use it after I wash my hair, dry it and then I use the Thermal Spray. I let that dry a few minutes and then I style my hair with an electric curling iron. It definitely holds my style longer than if I used nothing. I like it!

Q: Why so many errors in product description on Biolage products? Latest misspells the name of the product. Makes me wary about trusting the products.

I'm not sure about Biolage, but several years back Time-Warner fired all of their writers and hired people in non-English countries write for them in order to save a buck and made their editors try to do what English-speaking writers mostly did for themselves: write in correct English. It's not that editors don't serve a purpose as it's difficult to edit yourself, but it was too much to expect them to rewrite every piece of writing from people for whom English wasn't a first language. But Time-Warner saved some cash and many companies followed suit or hired freelancers who were willing to work for "exposure." Still makes me mad. Can you tell?
