A Mild-Tasting Miracle for Breastfeeding Mums
The Overview:After experiencing a stressful event that affected my milk supply, I turned to Brewer's Yeast Powder for Lactation Support, which is marketed as mild-tasting and debittered. Here's how it worked for me:The Good:Effective Milk Supply Increase: Within just a few days of adding a spoonful to my morning decaf coffee, I noticed a significant improvement in my milk supply. It worked perfectly for my needs.Nutritional Benefits: I had blood work done which showed exceptionally high levels of Vitamin B, likely thanks to this supplement. This was an unexpected but welcome bonus.Taste and Texture: While there is a slight flavor and texture change to my coffee, it wasn't bothersome enough to detract from its benefits. The debittered version truly makes it more palatable.Longevity and Value: One container lasted me around 3-4 months with daily use, making it not only effective but also economical. I've reordered it due to its positive impact. The Not-So-Good:Slight Taste Alteration: If you're very sensitive to changes in taste, you might notice the yeast's influence on your beverage. However, I found it quite manageable.Overall:This Brewer's Yeast Powder has been a lifesaver for me in maintaining and boosting my milk supply post-stress. The mild taste, significant nutritional benefits, and long-lasting supply make it a go-to supplement for any breastfeeding mother looking to naturally support lactation.Pros:Quickly and effectively boosts milk supplyRich in Vitamin B, enhancing nutritionMild taste and texture, easy to incorporate into daily routineGreat value with a container lasting several monthsCons:Minor taste change, though not significant for mostConclusion:If you're a breastfeeding mother looking for a natural way to support your milk supply, this Brewer's Yeast Powder is highly recommended. 6-months postpartum still recommend this item
I’m 6 months postpartum and I have been using it since the beginning of breastfeeding. I use it from time to times when my supplies getting insufficient. Using this supplement along with exclusively pumping (every 3 hours) really works! And when you get used to the flavor it’s actually delicious. I simply stir it in milk or yogurt.

Went from an under to an oversupplier
Anecdotally, with my first breastfeeding experience I struggled with supply and had to supplement for the entire three months I did it. My second time around I made myself lactation balls for snacks and one month in I’ve maintained a fairly consistent oversupply of 1-2oz per feed. I have struggled with clogged ducts though. I don’t know if the brewer’s yeast actually affected or influenced that, but it’s been my experience. Other than that, it doesn’t have much of a taste or smell to me and the price was reasonable for the amount so it’s worth a try for lactating people!

IT WORKS
I love this brand yeast, it’s a bit pricy compared to others but it works for me. I saw an increased (2-3oz) in two days. I take one tbsp in the morning and night. I would sprinkle it on my food ( meat, rice, anything) this will mask the taste. At night I would make my tea (almond milk, chamomile tea bag, honey and coconut oil) and add some in it. I would be heavily engorge by midnight where I have to pump and then engorged again by morning. The taste and texture it just fine, it does settle so stir well as you drink. I ordered another pack and also another brand to test the difference.

Yucky taste
I’m not certain that I’ve noticed a dramatic impact on my milk from this. It’s definitely not flavorless, a concerted effort was made, but it absolutely has a very strong flavor. It does not dissolve in hot or cold liquids, and it will sit at the bottom of whatever you’re drinking and then you have to drink silt liquid to get it all once you’re down to the bottom of your cup. It mixes decently in smoothies, but you need to have a lot of strong fruit to mask the smell and taste. I tried the brand Kate Neutrals as well and again, I can’t vouch towards efficacy, but it doesn’t taste as bad. I do appreciate that it is all made in America, but I’m not sure if I will be buying this product again.

I would recommend for women who’s trying to boost milk supply.
I use this when I was breast-feeding trying to get my milk supply up. I would add it to oatmeal or mix it and water. It definitely helped.

Brewers yeast
Interesting taste. The product is finely milled and dissolves easily. Easy to add to a smoothie but you still taste it a little. It is easy to stomach and the taste isn’t repulsive. It just takes a little getting used to
