Protect those trees!
I bought about 12 arborvitae trees that were saplings and needed protecting from the frigid Michigan winters. I cut this roll into 1-2 foot sections and was able to wrap all trees and tied the burlap off with green twine. The quality was very good and thick enough to prevent winter damage. I felt better in knowing that this burlap would do the trick and was cheaper then most big box stores and you got more of it. Because of the good hefty quality, I would recommend cutting with shears as opposed to house scissors although they would work too but shears would be optimum. If you're looking to protect your trees or shrubs, this is the burlap for you.

Basic burlap Does the job.
Works well for my need. Using as a wind break to protect bonsai trees. Some claim it has a strong odor, but I didn't notice any. Cuts easily.

Did not come rolled as shown in the photos
If form matters and you truly want to ensure that your material comes rolled rather than folded, then you may need to purchase it at your local garden center. The material is fine otherwise.

Worked very well as hunting blind material
I used this for a DIY hunting blind out on the central plains of Colorado. Combined it with some fiberglass stakes from Tractor Supply. It worked beautifully. It even took the beating of being trampled by cows overnight. I had to do some minor repair to how it attached to the stakes, but I was impressed with how it survived the ordeal. The weave was loose enough to let a breeze through, but tight enough to create an effective camouflage from the Antelope I was hunting. It was the perfect height to allow me to sit on my knees and peek just above it with binoculars. I was able to cut several small peep holes in various places to allow easier viewing through it, as well as allow for the barrel of my gun to get a clean shot. I dont think this material will last several years, but for a single season, I was happy with how it performed.

Thick material; great price.
This seems like heavy duty material. I’m using it to protect my young trees and evergreens this winter. The stuff at the at stores are expensive for flimsy material. I will update if this doesn’t work out. It comes folded, so I rolled it for easy storage and use.

Meeeeee; gardening YES, design, art, decoration NO
As observed by others, item emanates extremely strong smell similar to kerosene or petroleum, which may be because of the manufacturing process of this particular brand. However, hanging the burlap up outside and letting the sun beat on it for 20 minutes, got rid of the small to a significant degree, which is what the seller noted in the description. The quality of the burlap is not good however and nowhere near what the picture shows. The burlap I received was woven very widely w/the sides of each square about 1/8th of an inch wide. The actual yard is about 1/32nd and 2 are spun together loosely to create a thicker thread (which comes apart easily). The long edges were "finished" rather roughly. The short edges were not finished (likely because this items comes off a roll) and fray easily and immediately. Finishing those edges will be necessary unless you want to own a ball of burlap string sooner or later. The product is sound for garden use, particular sunshade d/t its light weave, but I doubt that it would lend itself to art and design projects unless it is more or less a hidden item. I am not sure if I would buy from this vendor again d/t the poor quality of the burlap. While I am not sure if I just got a bad batch, mine won't be the only of this quality as the item likely came from a roll that will look the same as the weaving process and quality would not change mid weaving. Other rolls however may be of the quality that the vendor shows in the picture above and I hope that you will receive those.
