If the wax does not melt, make sure that the wax warmer is on. It takes an hour or so to completely melt all the wax, it also depends on the type of wax you use.

Turn your light on and then off within less than five minutes, will shorten the life of your bulb.

Wax can be saved and reused until all of the fragrance has been depleted.
