Battery Kit Suunto Vector, Advizor, Atimax and Yachtsman Wrist Computer

I bought this after checking around locally and not finding the battery. My watch is over 12 years old so has a few battery replacements already. I noticed the “low-battery” icon and started my search for a new battery. Checking the battery compartment to confirm the battery number I noticed my Suunto Vector’s battery lid o-ring was stretched out. Almost ordered the lid too, the slot is a little mangled from my carelessness. It fits fine though so I just ordered o-ring and battery. The kit arrived quickly and contained the correct battery and o-ring. I cleaned the groove for the o-ring and installed the new o-ring and battery. Perfect! I’m good for another year or three.

This purchase is mainly for the rubber seal replacement but nice to believe you are changing out the old battery for a new one while you have it open. However, this does not come with the Energizer battery shown in the photo. It's a cheap off-brand battery which makes it a bait and switch given the photo shows an Energizer-branded battery—even had to pay shipping on this item regardless of prime status. Do not buy this item unless you feel the rubber seal needs replacement. Just purchase a 5-pack of the Energizer battery for half the price of this one battery and seal kit. Not worth it.

I like to get the hard-to-find O'ring. Worth the price if you try to get an uncertain/similar O'ring at a watch shop. The CR2430 battery, from Indonesia, should work well. It has a 2031 expiration date.

Was expecting the "backdoor" cover plus the O-ring and the CR2430 battery(Like the original Suunto kit) but all that arrived was the "O" ring and the battery. Should have read the ad more carefully. Battery was fresh, tho.
