Think Geek Furry Adventure Slippers

*would like to add that I wore these at a big convention for at least 8hrs and they didn't rip or tear (very durable). Awesome! I'm a size 8 1/2 in men's (10 1/2 in women's) and it's perfectly snug. I'm glad the price went down because I wouldn't have bought it otherwise lol. The first photo is how they looked when they first came in. The 2nd photo is of the slippers AFTER I threw them in the wash and dryer. The slippers themselves were fine after that, BUT the hairs on the feet got curly and a bit tangled, I brushed them out a bit with my fingers. The hairs aren't nearly as nice-looking as they were before (texture is different, but it's still soft), but I actually like the effect it left. Though next time, I might toss it in the wash and just let it air dry (so as not to mess the hairs up further).

These slippers are perfect for any adventuring you need to do. I purchased them for my father, as a gift, and it’s a good thing I did!Shortly after I gave these slippers to my father, he received a visitor. This tall, skinny man professed to be a wizard, and needed one more member for his group. My dad, being a pragmatic person, pointed out that he was not one for adventures, and Gary (I think that was the guys name, but I’m not sure, as this was all told to me later) should look elsewhere for someone looking for an adventure.Well, apparently, Gary was not one to take no for an answer, because a short time later, he showed up at my dad’s house with 13 of his friends to have a party. They made a mess, but ended up cleaning it really well, in the end. It turns out, Gary and his friend Thad had some precious family heirlooms taken from them by 'Smog' (that's what dad said, anyway), and they wanted to reclaim these heirlooms. Sure enough, my dad felt compelled to go on this journey with them, and help Thad and Gary out.I could bore you with the details of this journey, but I won’t go into that. That, after all, is my dad’s story to tell. What I will say, is that dad took his slippers with him, and it’s a good thing he did. He encountered all sorts of terrain, and the non-stick bottom of these slippers made sure he didn’t fall off of any mountains on the last light of the day. He had enough traction on wood floors as he was trying to get him and his new group out of prison (that’s a great part of the story, by the way…hope dad tells it soon!). They even ensured he would keep his balance on wet rocks during a riddle contest! One cold nights, his feet were warm, and they also made him very quiet, so if he wanted too, he could pass by people unnoticed!The one downside, which is not even related to the slippers, is when he got back from his journey, his cousins were trying to sell off his stuff, because he’d been gone too long!Without those slippers, I’m afraid that my dad wouldn’t have made it back from his adventure. 5 stars!

My boyfriend got my money's worth with these. He wore them hard. They were adorable when paired with my fuzzy monster feet. He's such a Hobbit fan that these were a no-brainer. Fuzzy, warm, and funny to all that saw them. Only downfall, they lasted maybe less than a year because the soles wore out. He said the bottom's felt flimsy and thin from the start.

These hobbit feet slippers are very comfortable, and always get a laugh when people see them. When my brothers saw them, they both wanted some as well. Embrace your inner nerd, and buy these! Professor Tolkien would be so proud his works have led to this merchandise...well, maybe not, but they are still great!Pro's- comfort- quality- great for warmthCon'sNone...I really can't complain about this simple and great product.

I do love the way these look when I'm wearing them, and, I do wear them all the time at home. However, the padding inside the bottom, or what would be considered the sole, is EXTREMELY thin and gets smashed and becomes basically nonexistent and useless in a very short time. So, if you have hard floors these will quickly be no different than walking on your floors in socks. They are warm and awesome looking though.

I got these because I wanted slippers. These are awesome looking slippers to have. The little tufts of hair on the toes and top of the foot is soft, the padding keeps feet comfortable and warm. The bottom of the slipper has grip so you won't slide. I wear a size 8.5 - 9 in men's and they fit just fine. None of that extra room feel, yet I'm sure they could easily accommodate someone up to a foot size 11 or 12. They take a little getting used to, the toes stick out far so for the first day or so, it feels like you're walking around with diving flippers on your feet. After getting acclimated to them, they aren't a problem. They are cozy, fit well and warm and look freakin' great. Well worth the $20 I paid here for them.

What's Great.1. Size fits all teenage-adult feet because of the design.2. So warm.3. Unexpectedly cushy on the bottom, like pillows.4. Fabulous 3-d effects on the toe nails make them ridgy and hobbitish.5. Size is not too wide to make walking/climbing stairs dangerous.Improvements?Not much. Maybe could come with some foot spray because your feet will smell like a dwarf when you take off these hobbit feet.

These slippers were a gift for my husband who just saw the Hobbit film and loved it. Mostly I will say that these slippers are hilarious. They're a good 7-8 inches wide at the toes and take a little getting used to walking around, but I find our kids stealing them to wear every time my husband takes them off. He normally wears a size 10 and they fit just fine. These will be perfect for any Hobbit/Tolkien fan!
