A must read for Christian believers

This book answers the difficult questions for those who wish to explore Christianity. Very thoughtful insights.

I wanted read the original writing of C.S. Lewis' however this book is not what I thought. It is a summarised by many scholars.

Sadly there are so many over printing pages inside...MRP is 125 and delivery charge totals to 201 Indian rupees...Totally not worth it!

if you are new to C.S. LEWIS this is recommmended. it gives a taste for this essential christian thinker. after you finish this go to his short esseyes on different topics in christianity. i recommend reading on piece a time for instance worlds last night in one weekend evening. i do not want to exagerate but going through life without some elementary knowledge about c.s. lewis thoughts is sad - if you care for a meaning of life.

What a great book for Lewis lovers. Dr. Lindsley does a fantastic job of making Lewis’ arguments accessible and easy to understand for the laymen, without sacrificing the intellectual rigor that comes with reading Lewis. Honesty this book would great to give for a skeptic as well.

I met Art Lindsley in "the First State" when he worshiped with a group of some 15 young adults. It was a thrill to see them at worship with the congregation I often find myself. Dr. Lindsley was introduced to me, and I learned a little about his involvement at the C. S. Lewis Institute. I am not a scholar on C. S. Lewis and his life and writings. But I consider him "my friend. Though they never knew each other, my Father was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1898 - same as C. S. Lewis. When I was in college I introduced my Father to C. S. Lewis via an autobiography. My Father, who never had more than a 7th grade education enjoyed reading the life and works of C. S. Lewis. I have given talks in a variety of settings about C. S. Lewis, and was affirmed in what I've taught by reading Art Lindsley's first chapter "Why Study Lewis's Case for Christ?"

Lindsley has done a great job of capture not only the substance, but also the essence of C.S. Lewis in this book. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in apologetics or studying C.S. Lewis' writings.

I bought this book for a friend of mine who is not a Christian. His intellect seems to be getting in the way of faith. So, I thought maybe this book could give him some new insights and help him believe in the Lord and accept Him as his Lord and Savior.
