When iPhone 17 Air meets the PITAKA case = perfect blend of perfection, protection yet so light !
I have moved from iPhone 16 Pro Max to iPhone 17 Air and my reason was simple, it needs to be light given my daily use. Now I went searching for a case that would not add to the weight, or feel bulky.. yet offer protection and strong MagSafe compatibility. I must submit, the first thing you notice about PITAKA is how nice is feels when you hold it - super slim, light as a feather yet premium.. the texture is so good. It adds to the charm of the iPhone 17 Air. The fit is 10 / 10, the case snaps on securely without being overly tight. The speaker holes align perfectly .. Overall, this is one of the best ultra-thin premium cases I’ve used. It enhances the phone’s design rather than hiding it. Highly recommended if you want everyday protection without loosing the charm of iPhone 17 Air feels :)

Love It.
This is really good looking. Light weight, extremley thin yet sturdy. Feels great. Good grip, not slippery at all. The only issue is that you have to be careful laying the phone face down as the cases lip is near non existant. For functionality, I like how easy it is to use the phone's side buttons. Also, two other cases I had for this phone wouldn't work or stay working on the built-in magsafe charger on my car. This one does. It may have to do with high the the case is around the lens and position of the charger.

The Case That Lets the iPhone Air Be Itself
The iPhone Air is such a unique product because its thinness is the main feature. Purchasing the wrong case could ruin that feature entirely, but this case handles it perfectly. It strikes the ideal balance between protection and thinness. The fit is flawless, and there’s no noticeable bulk added to the device. I now feel comfortable setting my phone down with less care than before. I initially didn’t want a case for my Air, but there was some mental weight in having to be overly careful while using the device. Buying this case took that away. I can use the phone as a tool while still enjoying its thin design. The texture and feel of this case are wonderful. I can’t stand rubber or plastic cases, but this one feels premium and adds confidence when holding it. An unexpected bonus is that the iPhone Air tends to get warm near the top camera bar, which is very noticeable without a case. With this one on, you’re touching the case instead of the heated glass, which makes it much more comfortable. Accessories work perfectly thanks to the MagSafe support. It feels just as native as an official Apple case. My previous Pitaka case for my iPhone 16 Pro maintained its look and feel the entire time I owned it, and I have no doubt this one will do the same. It doesn’t hold onto grease or sweat, and it’s easy to clean. The price is higher than cheap plastic cases, but you truly get what you pay for. This case was clearly designed with care and intention. It enhances the experience of using the phone instead of taking away from it. I also love the color. I bought the Sky Blue iPhone Air, which without a case looks almost white. With this case on, the exposed camera bar actually looks Sky Blue. If it’s not clear by now, I love this phone case. If you’re even considering it, stop thinking and just buy it. You won’t regret it.

Pair it with a "film" screen protector and you have the best case
I absolutely love this case, it's well made, keeps my phone thin (i tried several other cases), smooth, it just feels right in my hand, I paired it with a film (not glass) protector. I saw how strong the glass is against breaking but it does scratch. My first set of screens protectors cracked as this case has just enough protection for the original screen, when adding a glass protector, it protrudes and cracks, the "self healing" film has been working out for me perfectly. This case is also magsafe compatible so it hold on well in my Jeep Gladiator in rough terrain and my Ferrari 458 in bumpy city driving

Great looking, and fitting case, but also pretty expensive for what it is.
The case itself is great, for what it is. It's one of the more attractive, and thin cases on the market which are the two main reasons I bought it for my iPhone Air. I traded my somewhat heavy, and not as well balanced iPhone 16Pro in for the newer, slightly larger Air because after holding it at a local electronics store, I love how much more modern, and in a weird way, premium, and special it felt in my hand than the 16Pro. Perfect thinness while still feeling very high quality, not flimsy. Slightly bigger and brighter screen as well as better feeling weight balance and distribution. The simple one camera design also looks classier and less fussy to me than the three camera set up on the pro phone. So, what does all of that have to do with this Pitaka case? Having this case on the phone takes none of those qualities away from it. It still feels super thin. So much so that you almost can't even tell there's a case on it. It maintains is well balanced and high quality feel in hand, and the case provides slightly better grip surface on the back. It does protect the phone, especially it camera and back glass but it' obviously not the last word in protection which would be expecting too much from a case so thin. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. On that point I have to say, it's not good value for money. The cost of cases, especially nice looking ones like this one are seriously out of control. At the end of the day, it's a super thin piece of plastic and while it looks, and feels great, and fits perfectly on my iPhone Air, it obviously doesn't offer as much protection as a bigger, bulkier, more padded ones for around the same money. Although you'd also be making this beautifully thin slice of technology into a brick which defeats the purpose of buying this particular iPhone. The lack of ultimate protection is also to be expected by any rational, reasonable person considering buying this case by Pitaka. I'm strictly speaking about the value proposition. It's possible to get a much more protective case for the same, or even less money. Sure is pretty, though!

Great case
I don’t write reviews. This case is the best. Expensive but worth it. Fits great and super strong Mac safe. Super thin.

Perfect iPhone Air Case
I usually have clear cases on my phones so I don't cover up the beauty of the iPhone itself. So when I ordered my iPhone Air, I ordered a clear case as well. Over the next two months, I found myself increasingly dismayed with the air. I was willing to deal with a few trade-offs that I didn't feel affected me, but the phone just didn't *feel* much different than the 13 Pro that I was coming from. It just felt...bulky. So in one last , desperate attempt to keep the phone, I did a little research and thought I'd give this case a try. Let me just say that it completely transformed my opinion of the phone - the magic was back. This case, like the iPhone Air itself, is perfect for what it is. Does it have things that could be considered flaws to people who *aren't* looking for this exact thing? Sure. But if what you're looking for is a thin, light, attractive phone case that allows the beauty and form factor of the iPhone Air to shine through, I do not know how you get a better case than this.

Fitment issues around camera plateau
This case has potential as it’s extremely thin and light weight but there are 2 main issues. One, the fit around the camera plateau is not good. The camera ring doesn’t sit flush and you can tap on the ring and hear it hitting against the phone glass. This allows a lot of dirt and things to collect inside the case and potentially scratch the phone. Two, the edges are a bit sharp and can get uncomfortable when using the phone for an extended period of time. I think the bottom of the case should have a larger cutout to avoid the edge digging into your pinky. If those 2 things could be corrected it would be the perfect case for the iPhone air. As others mentioned there is no lip around the screen but I prefer this as it doesn’t interfere with swiping.
