High Speed USB 3.0 to VGA Adapter Converter,Display Port to vga,Support Max Resolution 1080p for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 Desktop Laptop PC Monitor Projector HDTV

I needed more landscape on my laptop since I have been working from home. I have the HDMI on my laptop going out to another monitor which is also connected and shared with my work computer, so I had to keep switching the source to go from my work PC to my laptop. I downloaded the driver, plugged it in and it works fine. The monitor I have it connected to in the pic is old and just a temporary solution, so the picture is not great, but that's the monitor, not the adapter. I tested in on a 65" tv and it looks fine, web pages look fine and video runs smooth. Refresh rate on a USB is always slow, so ii don't think it would not be good for gaming, (I don't game, I find it a waste of time) but for productivity and for under $20, I would definitely recommend.

This device did not work when I plugged it in but I did some searching (in the comments somone said they had downloaded the drivers) and found the website from where to download the drivers for both windows and mac. I use Windows 10 and once I went through the install the device worked perfectly.

The product works well enough, but it is worth noting that you have to download and install a driver from a sketchy website. Which I did and didn't have problems, but it did cause me concern. I will also mention that this works with USB 2.0 and 3.0 but if you only have 2.0 your resolution will be 800 x 600 and will look awful. I recommend verifying that you have USB 3.0 before you buy.

I attached this to my Thinkcentre Windows 10 desktop and Samsung monitor, then my wireless mouse started lagging or freezing and the monitor still hadn't come on. I downloaded the driver which turned the monitor on and I was able to extend my desktop to this third monitor. After restarting my computer, my wireless keyboard was not working at all, and it's companion mouse was freezing so much I couldn't get it to move where I needed it to. I had to plug in an old wired keyboard just to log back into my computer. I had to uninstall the driver with the wired keyboard and unplug the adaptor - as soon as I did my wireless keyboard and mouse returned to working properly without issue.

It does what its supposed to decently well, although it does have glitches from time to time. I was also told there was a paper the was supposed to come in my package that had a url for the support driver. Mine did not include that paper which caused some confusion, but when i got the driver it worked fine.

I ordered this USB 3.0 to VGA adapter to use at work to allow me to have a fourth monitor (laptop supports three, but can add a fourth if the laptop is closed and the connection is via a USB port on the docking station). Worked as advertised; I installed the drivers as recommended elsewhere in the reviews and the fourth monitor worked as expected. There is very little to no lag in response (watching the mouse icon); clarity is excellent, and no perceptible loss in color or sharpness. Best thing about the physical product is the adapter has screw holes for the VGA cable to make a solid connection. My previous solution was a travel USB/HDMI/VGA port; the VGA connection didn't have screw holes and the cable would disconnect/fall out occasionally. No possibility of that happening w/ this product. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a USB 3.0 to VGA connection option.

Works great for my Dell laptop with Windows OS - just be aware that you must install/download the driver for it to work. Does not work for Chrome OS - there are no drivers available for that OS. :(

I used this to add a second monitor to my display. It's not plug and play but the driver is easy enough to install to get things up and running. However, the picture quality is poor and the response rate is noticeably slower compared to my first monitor - even when web browsing and doing office work. I tend only to use my second monitor when I absolutely have to. Would not recommend.
