Q: Hello, does this unit have enough power to plate large items such as a coyote skull ? in a 2 gallon bucket.

For copper plating the formula is ~0.07-0.2A per 1 square inch of the surface, though in most cases you'd use about 0.1A per sq inch. That means with the supply that provides up to 5A you'd be able to work with up to 50 square inches of the surface. I imagine a coyote skull must be more than that even if you only plate the outer surface of it. I'd say 5A should be enough to plate a skull of cat (outer and inner sides) without having to struggle with the base layer (that's done at higher current settings) not being tough enough. For a skull size of coyote's you'd probably need a 10A power supply. Hope that would help others who might have similar question

Q: What are the physical dimensions of this unit?

The unit I received is 11" x 5" x 6" without the power cord installed.

Q: Which side to i flip the switch to in order for it to work in the us (120v)? i'm confused about which side is 120v (left or right)

There's a switch in the back of theunit marked 110v /220v , slide the switchto the right for 110v and to the left for220v, you can use your finger nail to do it.Hope this helps.

Yes, it could be used to charge rechargeable batteries. You must charge the batteries at their correct voltage and current requirements. And you cannot exceed the voltage or current capabilities of the power supply. If you do not know what you are doing you can cause rechargeable batteries to catch fire or even explode, so don't do this unless you really know what you are doing. Get simple, inexpensive battery chargers instead that are designed to recharge specific batteries.
