I got this for my poor hoo ha and I use it there but not with the applicator I just use my finger. I use estrogen cream up there too so I do not like to mix too much of that, If I get irritated I just put some on my finger and smear it around and it seems soothing. If you are irritated or raw it can sting a little at first. Anyway mainly I wanted to come here because I discovered it’s great for the inside of my nose too. Every winter the inside of my nose is raw full of scabs and just generally miserable. I have tried many things but this stuff works. I figured if it could work for one mucous membrane why not another and I do not stick it up far at all just the inside area where I can reach with a finger. I started smearing it around in there every couple days and Im more comfortable. There are stilll some rough areas but the moisture makes them not crack and bleed and I’m hoping over time it will allow it to heal.

I purchased this before I realized I could get a prescription item at a lower cost. That said, I used this four times before acquiring the prescription option, and not only was it easy to use, but it also worked. I could tell a positive difference within a week. If I no longer need the prescription option, I will definitely order more of this. A well-known menopause expert recommends Replens, and I concur that it's a great choice. Also, the applicator is easy to disassemble and clean, and it air dries quickly.

Most people would be embarrassed to write this review but it’s life and that’s why I’m writing it. There are so many things that happen to women’s bodies during menopause and dryness is one. What is not told to you is the problems that are associated with dryness . I won’t get into that but what I can say is this product has helped a lot. You must however use it as directed because if you don’t then some of your problems will keep returning. Yes it is a pain to have to keep buying but there are na lot of alternatives.

I wanted to like this completely because I like and use the Replens personal lubricant. But for me, this burns. It is mild burning for about an hour, so it’s tolerable. I can nap or sleep through it. Estrogen prescription, on the other hand, for me, caused intolerable burning for a long time. It is difficult to use a plastic applicator when you have the problem that it’s being used for. But I don’t know what they should do about that. It helps to put some of the cream on the outside of the applicator. The product does fulfill its purpose. Plenty of moisture. The applicator has to be washed and reused. Better for the environment, but inconvenient and kind of yucky. I am using it on occasion, and am not against getting more in the future. Trying other things too.

I have been using twice a week for the past 6 weeks. The applicator is no more uncomfortable than inserting a tampon with a cardboard applicator--it helps if you rotate it while gently inserting. I use it right before going to bed. I have not had any unexpected discharge, and it's definitely helped relieve vaginal dryness (I'm 57). I hope this helps others who may be unsure about trying this product.

No one talks about menopause or the lack of moisture 'down there'. This product is easy to use. It has an applicator that is comfortable on insertion (after the product fills the applicator). The applicator can be washed easily. The product does it's job providing comfortable lubrication for both parties. I could have used this as a newlywed when we were active like rabbits! (ahem!) Alas, I am old as dirt and though I want to be a rabbit, I am an old rabbit and need a little help! This product washes away easily, lasts a long time and doesn't stain. It does last 48 hours before more product needs to be used. This could also be used to lubricate tampons for insertion for younger women if insertion is a problem. I have terrible allergies and I have never had any side effects from this product. Hope this gives you enough information. I have bought this product over and over, so this is the only product I will buy!
