Great estimator for building supplies sales people.
I recently tried out the actual materials estimator app off the Google play store for my Samsung and while I really liked having the application on my phone for ease of use (1 week trial), I decided that the yearly fee to use was too expensive to pay year after year after year. So I opted to buy the physical version. I like the simplicity of this device and hope to really utilize it in my sales department of a large retail building supply company. So far it's working just great! I wish though that it did calculations for cylindrical cement forming tubes. It does slabs though. Other staff are taking notice of it as well. I have been putting it to good use!

Must have tool for all projects
I use the calculator for all my projects. This is my second calculator, my previous one broke on a project. I like the fact that it is both solar and battery operated.

Why is this not a standard calculator.
I have wanted one of these for years and just relied on Excell to make conversions for my job. Finally got one, and I love it. Now please explain why the default uses the sin, cos, tan function which is great for one task but the majority of users require the ability to convert measurements for either architecture, engineering, trade skills, contractors, etc. I see a far greater use for this type of calculator than the everyday calculator with sin, cos tan.

Construction calculator
Works good once you know how to enter new specification. The cheat sheet is handy.
