Joe Fattorini's Tasting Note: "The Romans knew Moscato and called it Apiana because bees loved it. We call it Moscato because flies love it (mosca = fly in Italian). Latin names are sometimes more poetic. But both are attracted to the sweet, aromatic, musky aroma that froths out of the glass. I particularly love this with Christmas pudding."
The vineyard's distinctive qualities are brought out clearly in the wine's lovely straw-yellow colouring with golden highlights, and in the explosion of aromas that are strongly reminiscent of the smell of the muscat grapes the wine is made from.
Particular hints of ripe pear, white peach, honey, locust tree, linden and orange blossom, sage and lemon.
Highly persistent, it clearly conjures up the light and warmth of just-picked bunches of ripe muscat grapes.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Very enjoyable on its own, it is also a perfect match for fruity desserts.

Item Package Quantity:3
Attractive bright golden yellow in the glass with an intensely aromatic nose of white petals, ripe peaches and lightly spiced pears. Medium bodied with a delicious honeyed richness of concentrated grapey fruit flavours, delicately balanced with cleansing acidity and a youthful, lively pettiance that lifts the palate and keeps the wine refreshing and dangerously easy to drink. Pair perfectly with light, fruity desserts such as melon sorbet or with a mild blue cheese.
