The best vegan omega supplement. Truly burpless and the only one I could tolerate while pregnant. A

Excellent quality
Excellent so far. As a vegetarian, it is nice to see such a high quality option available that also includes DPA. I like that the ingredients are very clean. There is no rancid smell whatsoever. I highly recommend. The capsules are nice and squishy and very easy to swallow.

No carrageenan! But the soy?
I tend to try different vegan options here and there. The following are my Suggested list of pros and cons.. Pros: ... No carageenan! This is good sign. While most other vegan omega 3 companies have a hard time understanding that carrageenan is not a healthy additive, this company gets it! Just a little counter productive to add an inflammatory inducing additive to and anti inflammatory product🤦🏻♀️ ... They contain three types of omegas, 509mg DHA, 101mg EPA, 28mg DPA. Also they’re very own algal oil blend of 1050mg.. Recommended daily amount is over 1000mg. Maybe between 1-2000mg daily. It varies.. ... The bottle is dark blue and protective. This will help to keep them fresh for longer and block any light. ... The capsule is thin and transparent. You can easily see the yellow liquid inside. Thin capsule means less extra ingredients in the capsule itself and more of what you want inside. ... Saves the fishies! Most importantly our little ocean friends can swim on and less of them are harvested for use of their omega 3 content. To me it just seems like an overall smarter way to get what you need when you go straight to the source. The Algae itself. Cons ... These little yellow pills have strong odor, maybe a fishy or algae type of scent with a hint of lemon. The lemon doesn’t really mask anything unfortunately and the flavor will linger, so be prepared to guzzle some extra water to get the taste out. ... Contains Soy.... big no no. Usually this would’ve been an immediate deal breaker. Soy is commonly known to be a gmo, unless it’s organic. Even then it can cause hormonal imbalances and digestive issues.. This bottle doesn’t say organic, but it does say no gmos. It’s still one of the top allergens, so it will stay on my cons list.. ... That’s mostly it.. I chose to give them four stars. I’m leaning in a positive light in hopes of improvement. They could be the best, but the soy.. and the taste.. now you decide. Hopes this help:)

Amazing relief from inflammation!
I’ve been following a whole-food plant-based (WFPB) diet for about a year and a half. Prior to that, I was taking fish oil, but stopped when I started eating WFPB. A few months ago, I started getting pain in my hips (trochanteric bursitis) due to inflammation according to my doctor. The pain was waking me up at night and bothering me during the day. I tried a pillow between my legs at night and that helped some, but I knew I needed to get back to taking an Omega 3 supplement and I wanted a vegan alternative to the fish oil. I also wanted to stay away from carrageenan and it was important to me that it include DHA, EPA & DPA. I tried my local health food store and they only had one option and it did not meet the above criteria. I then purchased this Bloom Omega 3 via Amazon. The relief from pain was nothing short of amazing! I no longer wake up from pain in the middle of the night and I certainly don’t feel any pain during the day. I don’t get a fishy taste. I find the taste is neutral with a hint of lemon. And I don’t get fish burps. I recently place an order for my third bottle. Edit 10/21/2022 according to Amazon records I've purchased this item 31 times. I stopped taking it for approximately 1 year to try another brand. During that year, my hip pain got significantly worse. It wasn't until I started taking this supplement again and the pain subsided that the light bulb went off! The other supplement was not as good as this one by a long shot! I wish I had attributed the pain to the lack of this supplement a lot sooner, but I didn't think there would be a difference. There100% is a difference! I'm so glad to be using this again.

Vegan omega 3 with DHA
I took vegan an algae-based Omega 3 supplement just as insurance in the case that my body isn't as efficient as it needs to be at converting ALA fatty acids to DHA, and this brand is excellent! The taste is actually decent (there is a bit of a fishy taste, yes, and that should be expected; the fishy taste is no worse than that which one would experience when taking, say, a bite of a tuna sandwich or a bite of salmon), and the capsules are a normal size. I love, love, love that these are carrageenan-free, as well; in fact, I think it might be the only brand available at the moment that is (and, actually, I think that it is currently unavailable via Amazon---I am hopeful that the status changes when it comes time for me to reorder). All in all, if you are vegan and, like me, looking to ensure that your body has an adequate supply of DHA, I wholly recommend this product. If you experience "fishy burps" after taking it (I actually don't with this particular brand, but everyone is different), then just take it at night just before going to bed.
