Very sweet book with a nice page in the front for messages. I also love that there is a matching older sibling book.

It was far to long to read to a really young child/baby. And I was bored already before I was half way through. It's not something I would enjoy reading to a baby, and I think a young child would get bored too (not to mention, it's not something I would want to reread.)The pictures are precious. I am glad everyone else seems to have enjoyed it though.I would have considered returning it, but my husband and I were sick with covid-19 when it arrived and did not feel right about sending it back when it had been exposed to us.

I am a hormonal new mom and this book made me absolutely sob when I read it to my baby - but, sob in a good way. It's so sweet and filled with simple yet beautiful reminders for your new child as you welcome them to the world. I bought it for my own baby as a gift (which makes it even more special) but I would recommend buying this for any new baby you're close with or will be close with (i.e. it might seem a little too "sentimental" if you buy it for the baby of someone you don't know well).

This book was a gift for my new grandson. The artwork is precious and the story is very sweet. I thought the colors were especially appropriate for a boy, but could definitely also work for a girl. The story would work for either gender. I was super delighted with this book and highly recommend it!

Really nice book. Bought it as a first book for when my son arrives. My partner won't read it yet because I told him it will probably make him cry lol. It made me emotional too reading it. Can't wait to actually read to him once he gets here

I bought this not really knowing what to expect inside and it is really lovely. I bought it as a gift for a friend and they loved it too. A nice present that isn't a toy or clothes that has a really nice story inside.

Love this book. My middle boy, who's 6 read this to his new brother tonight at bedtime. Is a beautifully illustrated story that we really enjoyed reading together. It was a nice way to include my older boys.

I bought this book for a friend of mine who is expecting in the next couple of weeks and let me tell you it’s so lovely, well written and a perfect little gift. I was stumped as she’s got everything for baby and stumbled across this which is perfect! Can’t wait to see her open it and when baby arrives read it to them.

I loved this book as soon as I saw it and knew that it was perfect for my newly born granddaughter. The story follows a little elephant exploring the world, with snippets of advice for it as he sees more and grows. Meaningful words and beautiful illustrations. On the first page you can write who the book is for and a special message to make it personalised. Highly recommended
