Fit my simmans 200 amp panel well.

With a little finagling, I was able to make this interlock kit work on my Eaton 200 Amp breaker box. The listing says it's an exactly fit, but I had to play around with it to get it to fit. But I was finally able to install it. I'm not sure if the problem was me or the poorly written instructions with barely legible pictures. So I'm splitting the difference.

Exactly the right size and easy to install.

This was poorly manufactured and/or mispackaged. The mounting bracket and slider will not work together with their bolt hole positions and channel pattern. The provided bolt threads don’t fit the provided nuts either. I can’t use any of it.

After a long power outage during last winter's storm, our neighbors decided they wanted to wire their house for a portable generator. We got all the parts including this interlock for their Siemens panel. The template for drilling holes was super helpful and they give you every single little part you might need--right down to a small zip-tie to keep your wires organized inside the panel. Installing the interlock was simple. If you're going to backwire your panel for a generator, make sure you use one of these so our linemen stay safe out there!

Just installed the Generator Interlock Switch on my 200 Amp Murray box. Fits as expected and well made. I am not sure if others work differently but this one is foolproof. For years I have just ran chords from outside (the generator) to inside and moved plugs around as necessary to keep the frige cold, water running, during power outages. My generator is not big enough to run all at once so I will still have to switch them on and off manually but I won't have to be moving extension chords anymore. Five stars.
