We now regularly make our own bread and this flour is the best we have found. We mix it with a third of wholemeal and makes an excellent healthy loaf

Best thing for sliced bread
Brilliant quality flour ideal for making white or wholemeal bread by hand or in a breadmaker. Full of taste and rises well. I mix this 50/50 with either white bread flour or a wholemeal/chappati mix depending on if I am making bread, baguettes or dinner rolls. We have bought this several times and it is always well packed with a good date but as I bake three to four times a week this lasts about four months if I stick to 50/50 and less when I feel like making rustic bread where I just use this flour. Can't recommend this highly enough. You will never go back to plain flour after using this in your bread mix.

Makes delicious loaves
I generally make my own seeded bread by adding mixed seeds to either Canadian Extra Strong white flour or wholemeal flour but I've always fancied trying this flour. Matthew's Cotswold Eight Grain Flour makes delicious loaves. I didn't have time to wait the 5 hours by using the recommended recipe and settings in my breadmaker's booklet so I simply used the 2 hour quick white loaf setting and the loaf turned out perfectly. The bread has a nice crust and crumb and tastes delicious. I highly recommend this flour to anyone who wants a delicious healthier loaf. I will definitely be buying this again when we near the end of the 16kg sack.
