I bought this in hopes of calming down my 2 cats that get the zoomies at night and it works! On the first day of using this, I pointed it in every direction all throughout the house and they were napping in 20 minutes. I’ve been using it about 4x a week for the past 2 weeks and I haven’t needed to change the battery yet. The light is just as bright as the first time I used it. As for safety, i’ve read that laser pointer toys can cause problems with vision overtime if not used with proper care so I try to keep it as far from my cats eyes as I can when using it. Its quality and design are good for the price. It feels sturdy instead of cheap and flimsy.

kept my kitty entertained for hours. he mostly liked the simple red dot but i played around with the settings and its not super intuitive. only con is that kitty also liked biting the string part of the light so it tore up pretty quickly. super small and handy to have

Absolutely love this laser. I usually buy the ones at the dollar store & my cats have always loved them but they fade & are never super bright. I finally decided to get them a better one to add to our arsenal. This one is so bright it can be easily followed day or night. At first it seems dim but when you turn it, it gets brighter. Our cats love the star but the mouse & other designs to choose from make it fun for us too! I have a 24 lb Russian Blue that I am trying to help lose a few pounds. She's a huge cat but does carry some extra lbs. When she plays she'll just lay there & it's hard to get her motivated to move around but let me tell you for the first time she was running in circles & chasing this little light. I have three cats ages 7 to 12 and they all approve of this laser. It fits perfectly it your hand making it easy to quickly mauver keeping your furry friend entertained for a good half hour. It seems well made and it chargeable so no replacing batteries or excuses to not exercise our babies. The amount of joy it brings not only to my cats but to us watching them, I find it a value for my money & would purchase again..
