The rain sensor pad must be present for rain sensor to function. Buyers Note: Your windshield must have a Premounted bracket mounted on the windshield for rain sensor to attach to. If your windshield does not have bracket on glass for rain sensor then the wrong windshield was installed. If bracket has come off windshiled Bracket must be reattached 1st.
Pads have a one time use and are not able in most cases to be reused and function properly.
This rain sensor fits most Volkswagen, Jaguar, and Porsche with rain sensor, also fits some Chevy, Dodge, and GMC.
