GREAT RAMP. EASIER TO INSTALL. GREAT WORKING UNIT.

We had to do a little creative work to attach the ramp to the house, but that is an individual challenge, nothing to do with the ramp itself. Ramp is sturdy and my husband feels secure on the corregated tread both walking holding the rails and with his walker. The ramp is attractive which was important to us as it provides access from the living room to a large screened in porch which is used by family, friends and visitors. One person did the assembly for our 6 foot ramp and found the directions easy to follow. It took about two hours start to finish but a lot of that time was the house attachment trial and error! The door clearance did not allow us to attach it to the threshold directly. We created a face piece that was secured to the house and then secured the ramp to that face piece using the holes predrilled to the upper end of the ramp. We also bought a 3 foot model for a step down from a walkway outdoors. Took about 15 minutes since we were experts at that point. Only notable - the end caps do not stay on (this was noted in other reviews so not a surprise). A dab of glue fixes it. Also our hans were black from working with the aluminum rails so will find a way to remedy this. Perhaps with pool noodles which will add some fun color. We jusr installed the ramps a few days ago but from first impression, they appear to be of good quality, sturdy and safe and we are pleased with them. Delivery was considerably earlier than expected and they were packed well.

Very pleased with this ramp. Installation was a little tricky due to the cofiguration of the steps and doorway height. Be prepared to improvise depending on your situation. Once installed the ramp was great. The ramp is strong and very well made. The railings are a must have for secure use. Pay close attention to the slope you'll be creating as this can make all the difference when it comes to pushing a wheelchair up the ramp.

Originally expected to arrive in one to two weeks, but only took about 4 days! I installed this today for my sister and her daughter. Feels good and solid. Super glued the protective caps, but that's fine. Exactly the right parts needed, with instructions, which I never completely use (with just me, a 66 year old male by myself), it shouldn't have taken as long as it did without the directions, I put one rail on backwards. I drilled two holds in the concrete with a 1/4" masonry bit, and it came with two pins that fit perfectly. They are supposedly for 'temporary' support, but I'm confident to leave it as it is. I put a jack stand under the middle for extra support at the center of gravity, although it seems pretty secure as is. It's just if more than a couple of heavy people walk on it at the same time, it could push the 800 lbs limit. Overall, we are very happy so far. It is well worth the money. Now if she can get the dogs not to be spooked by it, everything will be perfect:)

It was easy to put together and install. Using in a garage so added mats. Very sturdy.

Two handymen put this together in an hour. It is perfect. Sturdy and even pretty. it is very heavy so I wouldn't really call it portable - plus it is screwed to the stoop you put it on. But it would be easy for a couple of brawny lads to remove. Great purchase.

Well build and easy to install, but came with out 4 end caps for the railings trying to find more at hardware store

This worked out perfectly! Great for front door. No hassle! Helpful with the bars to hold on. Easy to install! Works great!!
