I have never had the dryer slip from the holder.

Q: I just bought this and it’s very sturdy but how does everyone handle/wrap the cord??? It is very awkward and I can’t figure it out.

I don't wrap the cord. It takes too much time and effort. I do still like the stand. It keeps the hairdryer off the floor and keeps it safe.
