Small but Mighty!
I live in Texas where it’s unbearably hot half of the year so I wanted a battery operated fan the patio because we have no electrical outlets outside. I had my doubts that this small fan could be powerful enough to have a cooling effect but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. I like that it has 3 different speeds and you can charge it with a USB cord. It’s a powerful fan and I love that I can move it wherever I need to. I was working in my garden and had it next me, I use it next to my hammock, patio, nightstand, kitchen, really everywhere I go because it’s ridiculously hot here. I highly recommend this fan!

Excellent portable fan! Costly, but definitely worth the price!
Bimonk F14 is an excellent rechargeable fan.Packaging:The product came well-packed and there was no damage to the product or its contents. The package contained the rechargeable fan, two 18650 batteries, a Micro-USB cable and product manual. The 18650s came in protective case which is excellent! Excellent work by seller/manufacturer! This is how the 18650s should be shipped!Build Quality:Bimonk F14 is well-built. The fan runs extremely quiet! The F14 runs very quiet, with very less vibrations. The product I received was manufactured in September, 2019. The package was in excellent condition and the batteries were healthy! Moving the fan up or down (adjusting directions) does not make any kind of noise and feels smooth. The batteries once charged were at 4.19V, which is about right for an 18650. So, the charging circuitry does its job well! The USB out works as intended.Features:F14 uses brushless motor instead of brushed motors that are usually found in other cheaper products. This leads to an increase the efficiency, thus increasing the backup. Not only that, it also produces less vibration and noise! The LED light is placed away from the direction of the fan, which is a boon! It is a cleverly thought out design! Most similar products have the LEDs facing towards the user (which is where the fans blasts the air), and it is a bane!There are two buttons, one for ON and another for OFF. Pressing the ON button toggles between off state and different SPEED levels of the FAN. It cycles through OFF-LOW-MEDIUM-HIGH-OFF. There are indicators which shows the fan speed setting. At any of these stages, the OFF button can be used to turn off the fan. Press and HOLD the ON button to toggle the LED light.The product comes with two SZNS 3.6V 9.0Wh 18650 batteries (2500mAh each), totaling 5000mAh and not 5200mAh as mentioned on the product title (but correctly mentioned in product description and product packaging). Haven’t heard about these batteries, but as of now, these seem to be competent, delivering its bold claims (backup of up to 17 hours on the LOW, 12 hours on MED and 5 hours on HIGH setting). The review will be updated after few days of usage and the battery life will be updated.The product has a Micro-USB charging port. There is an LED indicator which blinks when charging and stays on when fully charged. The input specification is 5V, 1A. There is also a USB output rated 5V, 800mA which can be used to charge mobile phones, accessories and so on. There are four dampers on the base of the product which helps reduce vibration and noise while running. The fan can be turned 120° up and down according to one’s needs.Price:The item retails in the US for about $27.99. The price its retailing in India is about right. At Rs.2299, it is one of the costliest Li-Ion portable fans, if not the costliest Li-Ion portable fan! The price is justifiable by the built-quality, use of brushless motor and 5000 mAh battery.Comparison:I own two JYSUPER JY-1880 which costed me about Rs.650. The Biomonk F14 is Rs.2299. The batteries that came with JYs were of low quality. They never provided me with the backup they claimed. It was so bad that I had to buy replacement 18650s at about Rs.200 a piece, which further raises the cost of each JYs to about Rs.1050.The package I received (F14) was in excellent in condition. In comparison, the packages of one of the JYs I had received was dirty and packages of both JYs I received was damaged a lot. Also, on opening one of them, I found rust on metal parts include some on circuitry. I do not know how long these will last.I found the quality of F14 to be much better than that of the JYs. F14 seems to be much powerful and pushes a lot of air than the JYs. JYs seem to disperse the air flow as one moves further away from it, but that’s not the case with F14! It pushes the air much further and with much less dispersion. This means, even if one keeps it a bit far, you still get ample air flow! The LED indicators on F14 is much more subtle than the ones on JYs. The ones on JYs are very bright and unpleasant to look at.F14 runs much quieter than JYs. JYs also make lots of vibration, if kept on glass surface, the vibrations produced are strong even to move them around. This necessitates the need of constant repositioning. The dampers on FY cushions the already minimal vibrations and keeps it at one place.Having used both F14 and JY, I prefer Bimonk F14 to JYSUPER JY-1880.Final Thoughts:Bimonk F14 is a well-built product and worth the investment!
