Q: is this cocoa butter ray and unrefined?

The package I got weighed in at 3 pounds 2 ounces, and was clearly labeled "Raw Cocoa Butter". The package was a sealed foil bag with large cuts in the front so you could see and touch the product, and the label states it has a 3 year shelf life. The cocoa butter chunks I could see through the large holes look fresh, but the bag shipped in November 2020 was stamped "110021 on a corner, so I assume it is dated to 11/2021, so it was in the warehouse for two years.

It is 3lbs of pure Halaleveryday Cocoa Butter. Whoever received the 1lb must not have purchased the Cocoa Butter from us. We encourage our customers to check the weight after receiving the product.

Q: Can you bake with this?

Honestly, I haven't tried to bake with it. I have had great success melting it down to mix with coco powder to make my homemade chocolate bark. I'm pleased with it.
