Bring modern features into an older car
I’ve been using the 9” wireless CarPlay and Android Auto screen in my car, and overall, it’s a great upgrade for an older vehicle. Setup was simple — I just plugged it into the car’s power outlet and connected via Bluetooth connectivity. CarPlay works smoothly, and I like that I don’t need to plug in my phone every time I drive. The screen is large and clear, and it’s easy to see even in bright daylight. Touch response is quick, and using apps for navigation, Spotify, and phone calls feels natural. Features are great. Sound good. I didn’t have to change my original stereo, which is a big plus.

I'm happy with my first carplay screen
+ Ease of installation: despite poor instructions, they weren’t necessary as it was easy to install. I used the dash mount suction cup, but you could also do the windshield.- One negative on the installation: the film covering the adhesive on the plate that mounts on the dashboard for the suction cup was WAY too hard to remove+ One positive about the mount: I really like the low profile, that the screen isn’t intrusive. And it’s close to, without completely blocking the A/C vents, so it can stay cool+ Connecting to Android Auto and my phone was easy+ Customer service: Responsive and helpful. Voice command didn’t work at first, but with some tips from customer service (but ultimately Googling), I got it working (it turned out to be my phone and having to reinstall the Google app and then change some settings on my phone)+ +Quality: Starts up quickly, looks solid, screen is responsive-+ Features: I wish there was more too it. Maybe it’s Android Auto, as it’s my first time using it. It seems like I can do double window on the screen, but it’s always navigation on one side (Google maps/Lyft/Uber) and music (Spotify) on the other. I would have liked to be able to have Lyft and Uber be more usefully (and be able to dual app). It also has the ability to have an optional backup camera hooked up to it, but I didn’t buy a backup cam for it+- Value: With a coupon, it cost me $75. Compared to other carplay screens, it seems like a good price. I just wished the Features (again, maybe it’s just Android Auto) were… more necessary, because at the moment I mostly use it for navigation and my phone can do that; it’s just a bigger, nicer screen.- Other: very strong chemical (vinyl??) smell when I opened it. I’d recommend opening it outside.

Great screen size and clarity, super safe for navigation
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wireless android car play, super convenient and safe! it works super well with google, just say Hi Google! and ask what you need, it has great built in speakers and you can listen to FM radio too, it is as simple as plug and play, and has quick self installation with real time map update, I truly love that it comes with three mounting methods, I use the strong adhesive base mounting on my Ram Promaster , note that it has a TF card slot for firmware upgrade. All the necessary cable clips and accessories are included in the box,

Nice addition for long road trips
Enjoyed this addition to my 2300 mile road trip. It was nice not relying on my phone screen for GPS. Was easy to set up. It synced easy with my vehicle. I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. It fits nice on the dash. Not too big, not to small. My only complaint is I tried to get the mirror tool to work and was unsuccessful multiple times. Tried both apple and Droid phones. Definitely could not get any streaming services to work. Which was a big reason for this purchase. So if anyone knows how to get vehicle feature to work ill change my stars to 5. But if you dont want that feature it's a 5 star device.

Great product!
Wanted to update our family car without having to spend too much money. Saw this on Amazon and thought this would be a good option. Ordered and it was delivered quickly and packaged well. There is a hook system on the back to hold the tablet. As for the setup, it was very easy. Just attach it to you car, turn it on, and connect it to your phone by Bluetooth. We have an iPhone, so we connected to CarPlay, and it was done seamlessly. The only downside is that there is no YouTube. But this isn’t the manufacturers fault, Apple has not allowed it on CarPlay. Having said that, the audio plays, which is still good as the kids love to listen to audio books. The screen is nice and the navigation works good as well. Overall liked the product and would recommend it even though it doesn’t have YouTube. Haven’t tried it on Android Auto from Google as we don’t have an android phone.

Good but not great
I’ve been using this product for about a month now, and I’ve got to say, it definitely delivers on some aspects while leaving room for improvement. Let’s kick things off with what I really like about it. The plug-and-play setup is a game-changer—you can get everything going without having to take your dash apart. It comes with multiple mounting options, so you can easily attach it to your dash or window. Plus, the screen size is fantastic; it’s clear and easy to read no matter the lighting. Now, let’s discuss some areas where it could be better. One downside is the cigarette port plug, which lacks a toggle switch for powering it off. While there’s a switch on the device itself, it only puts it into sleep mode instead of fully powering down, which can be a bit frustrating. Another issue is the volume control: if you want to use your car’s controls, forget it. You’ll need to interact with the device to adjust the volume, since the car’s volume rocker only affects the car speakers and leaves the device blasting away.Making phone calls through the device isn’t ideal either; the audio quality is lacking, so it’s often hard to hear or communicate effectively. Lastly, if you try using the dash-mounted arm, you might find it doesn’t stick as well as you’d hope—it’s much more reliable on the front window. Overall, while it has its flaws, it certainly has some strong points that make it worth considering!
