Q: How is it different from other elastic belts?

This is my second Jelt and they are the only elastic belts I own. I like that they don't cut into you and due to the rubberized material, on the unseen side of the belt, it stays in place.

Q: My ski pants are a little large in the waist. I need a belt. Would this work well or no?

I don't own ski pants, but you don't need belt loops for this belt to work. I have used it to hold up my exercise pants that kept sliding down after I lost weight, and it held them in place. The Jelt name is emblazoned all around the inner side of the belt using a gel substance that prevents slippage. And, the belt itself is stretchy, but strong, so it performs well while still being comfortable.

Q: How do you tighten this belt?

This Jelt belt does not adjust. They are sized to fit. There is a size chart for the listing. The JeltX is adjustable.
