Q: Will this work for knees or elbows?

I used the bigger pouch on the stomach area. I would say it's working on my constipation. I have not tried it on the elbow. I try it on my knee it seems to relieve the pain after one time. I will continue to use it in my knees to see the results.

Q: Does this pack require added heat?

No it doesn’t require it. It does have a spot you can unzip and put in a small heat pack. It’s really comfortable I use it at night it keeps the castor oil from getting on your clothes and sheets. I have heard that if you use heat with it, it intensifies the effects. Hope that helps.

Q: New to castor oil. I see that ppl say it stains. Can one wrap plastic wrap around this or would that be bad?

Plastic wouldn't allow breathing and the purpose is to eliminate toxins so I don't think it would be good. Maybe best to use an old towel underneath you and wear an old pijama or tshirt. If you leave the items soaking in water with laundry detergent the oil will separate. But you have to leave it long enough and then after the oil separates and you see the drops in the water, you proceed to washing normally. Hope that helps.
