Not really impressed with this thing. It doesn't really fit my board. It doesn't seem to be that well made and I question how long it would last. The shipping took a while. Out of the box, it is fairly easy to install. Overall I'm not really happy with it. I wish I wouldn't have ordered it and now it is just taking up space in my garage. I would not recommend getting one.

I paddle board a lot and while I don't break a lot of fins, it does happen. When it does, it inevitably becomes a hassle trying to find the right fin since they aren't universal. I saw this and I realized that I should get it now, before I break a fin, so I have one handy. It seems to be almost exactly the same weight and size as the one I have mounted currently. Most importantly though, is the base where it connects. It has to be the same as the mounting platform on your board. This one is a perfect match to my board. I hope I don't have to use it anytime soon, but it's nice to know that I have it if I need it.

The fin and base arrived and immediately, I realized that I could not use this on my board. My board’s base cannot be removed so I can’t use the supplied base. I tried to use the new fin with the old base but they are not compatible. Sadly, I cannot offer a truly helpful review because I can’t mount this set on my board.

I was shocked and presently surprised to see this replacement Skeg fit perfectly on my abrazo yoga stand up paddle board. This could not have been easier to replace. This was an exact replacement of the original part. I did not even need to use the fin box. I am a little annoyed with the design of the skeg though because it seems overly difficult to install and remove. The no screw plate is such a pain to fit into the proper position without it sliding away and of course I lost in on our 3rd outing. I have two other inflatable stand up paddle boards that use completely different Skeg mounting systems that are so much easier. Oh well this works perfectly for now.

While it's not what would be considered a high end fin for boards, it's a great little fin that does the job. I like that's a little more rigid than other brands and styles available which could result in better tracking and stability. It could also mean that it could snap and break if caught on a log, shallow waters or rocks. Regardless, I love the tool free option to install and secure with your fingers.
