In theory, this enables the user to wrap yarn on a peg loom while maintaining tension. The yarn feeds out through the tip after passing through a tensioner. I found it completely useless. If you want to use any weight heavier than 4 or 6, it won't go though. Also, the tensioner has no 'grip' and I had to keep stopping and reloading the yarn. Its easy enough to wrap pegs that this is not really necessary. If you're knocking your fingertips on the pegs, you'd be better off wrapping them in electrical tape.

Q: Will this work with Super Chunky/Bulky yarns?

It works with the Bernat Blanket yarn which I think is chunky but not the Bernat BIG Blanket yarn. That is too chunky!

Yes, but the thicker worsted brands could be tight.

Q: How thick a yarn will this hold? I want to use two #5 yarn.

Yes it should hold with no problem the No. 5 yarn.
