The fan came with a wired controller, don't know what happened to it. Got this wireless one to replace it. Works awesome.

Bought this for a new S4 fan that will be going into the attic as an inline bathroom exhaust fan. Was excited about this wireless remote because running the wiring to the bathroom is next to impossible. There was no short cable included with this kit so I used the 10 foot cable provided with S4 fan and it controls the fan speed but to be honest I wouldn't have minded paying a few dollars more for a kit that would've included a shorter cable. With this said, the product is excellent and meets my needs.

I hit my original fan speed controller with my cabinet and broke it. Surprisingly AC Infinity let me know that they don't offer replacements. Feeling utter disbelief that I might have to purchase an entire new fan just because the speed controller broke, I went to Amazon and found this. Free overnight shipping was offered, and I bought it. To my surprise, it was plug and play by simply adding the 2 AAA batteries to the remote and plugging the other end into my fan. That's it. It just works. The remote even has a magnet built into the case that allows it to stick to the metal plate on their grow tents. I guess I dodged a bullet on this one by not having to buy another fan and it is a nice, unintentional upgrade to boot.
