As I read about several compost bins, the write-up stated it's easy to put together - only takes 10 minutes -so I bought it.It took two of us to figure out exactly how it had to go together and feel our way to the final assembly. Clearly there had to have been a misprint in the description because it took two hours and ten minutes. Still, if I decide to buy a second unit, I'll get another one. I think the construction of the parts results in a well-made that I believe will last for many years.

This is a 4.99 review only because my cat took a vested interest in the assembly process and was not terribly helpful. If you have pets and they ask to help, politely decline and move forward.If you've ever assembled anything from IKEA then you have the necessary skills to assemble this. The instructions are straight forward and they even provide a small screwdriver and wrench to help the process.It's now sitting outside with a load of grass clippings and we'll see what happens

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ease of assembly.It does the job, if you know what you're doing. I did not know what I was doing so my compost will take longer. Product appears to function as intended, despite user error.

This was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear and they even provided the tools needed to do it. Although I did it by myself, a second person could be helpful.

The media could not be loaded. Assembly is easy, comes with a few extra screws. It may seem a little flimsy at first but once you have it together, it’s pretty solid. The openings are pretty large to get scraps and leaves inside it rotates easy. Overall, I’m very happy with it!

Not easy to assemble properly. Took me at least 45 minutes to assemble for something that should be less than 10 minutes. Screws are too small to support large load. I am not sure how useful it will be. I should have looked at the previous rating.

Once it's put together, it is durable and works well. The instructions are somewhat difficult to follow. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to complete assembly, not the short time advertised, but none of these things are easy.
