Love it! I find it is easy to use, takes great video. You don't have to think about it, just turn it on and edit the footage later. It will flim everything around you, for you 😁 then you just take the footage you like, in the editing APP.

Great camera battery life doesn't seem as long as I expected but still learning all the features. Easy to connect easy functions easy to use sturdy good functions

This camera is an amazing device. It shoots 360 degrees in 8K and can easily be edited with a simple free application on your phone of PC device. The video is outstanding and even better than my DJI Drone. The fact you can take one video and edit it into many different views save time and effort in taking different shots. Very well made and with many options for mounting, charging and protecting the camera. It is all very high quality and worth the money. I have basically tossed my go pro as this is the next generation of cameras with lots of application shooting perspectives to choose from. X5 Appears to be the best out there right now.

The best camera! I don't need to be an expert to use it, and I've taken spectacular videos of my trips. The battery lasts a long time, it's waterproof, and it's truly amazing.

If you are reading this review, you already know you are going to buy this great camera. I was basically waiting for a good price and I am a proud owner now. There is a learning curve for learning to film and edit, but it's so much fun to watch the finished videos that you really don't mind. I have been lucky enough to meet some other great content creators and I am learning more from them and my X5 every day.

This is the best camera ever. I had the Theta but this one has many more features that make it so much easier to use. For example, there is is touch screen display with a ton of features. Pros: bluetooth connection is easy and finds everything including the AirMic, has an option to record 360 or 180 which is fabulous for my rental house tours, can review the video at any time, has changeable batteries so you can replace when it runs low or out, records on sd cards, has lens covers to protect the lens, came with a zippered case cover, has several options for recording in low light, and so much more. Cons: I can't quite figure out the AirMic and built-in mic and how they work together as the video volume always seems low.

Excellent camera quality very please

I purchased this camera after seeing it in use by a professional colleague. As an architect one of the challenging parts of the profession is documenting existing as-built buildings. There are many much more expensive options available that offer more features such as plugins to design software, but those options come at five to ten times the cost of this camera. The ability to document a site, pause the video at any point, and see a 360-degree view of the room is extremely valuable when it comes time to document the space for construction documents. It is very easy to use, easy to transport, and has a good battery life. Since this is really design for outdoor activities, it does suffer from some quality issues on the video in low light, however this is still better than not having quality documentation at all. We have been impressed enough with this, that we will likely purchase a second one as my firm does a lot of out-of-state work.

J’utilise l’Insta360 X5 Pack Essentiels depuis quelque semaines pour filmer des sorties sportives et des voyages. Le pack est bien pensé car il contient tout ce qu’il faut pour démarrer immédiatement : la caméra, une batterie supplémentaire, une perche invisible d’environ 114 cm, une station de charge rapide et plusieurs protections pour les objectifs. La première chose qui impressionne est la qualité d’image. La caméra peut filmer en 360° jusqu’en 8K à 30 fps, ce qui donne énormément de détails et permet de recadrer ensuite les images sans trop perdre en qualité. Les photos peuvent aussi monter jusqu’à 72 MP, ce qui est très pratique pour capturer des panoramas ou des scènes larges. La stabilisation FlowState sur 6 axes fonctionne vraiment bien : même en marchant ou en vélo, les images restent très fluides et exploitables. Autre point intéressant : l’effet “perche invisible”, qui permet d’avoir des plans type drone ou caméra flottante sans voir le support dans l’image. Cela ouvre pas mal de possibilités créatives. Côté ergonomie, l’écran tactile est réactif et l’application Insta360 permet de recadrer et monter rapidement les vidéos. Les outils automatiques facilitent aussi le suivi du sujet et la création de clips pour les réseaux. Points positifs : qualité vidéo 8K très détaillée stabilisation efficace pack d’accessoires très complet nombreuses possibilités créatives avec le 360° perche invisible très pratique Points à savoir : les fichiers 8K sont volumineux et demandent un ordinateur assez puissant pour le montage, prévoir une carte SD 256 ou 512 GO haut débit les objectifs 360° restent sensibles aux rayures (mieux vaut utiliser les protections), qui sont fournies ! Bilan : Le Pack Essentiels est probablement la version la plus intéressante pour débuter avec la X5, car il évite d’acheter séparément plusieurs accessoires indispensables. Pour la création de contenu ou les vidéos immersives, c’est une caméra extrêmement polyvalente.

I have wanted a 360 camera for a number of years. I finally broke down and got one and so far I am very happy with it. The build quality of very good. The video is of high quality and the camera is so easy to use. I highly recommend this camera to all!
