This is a winner! So I've always hesitated to buy this thinking it was expensive feed, but I was wrong. I have had a young chicken who has been eating a ton of calcium (oyster shells) and laying me brittle eggs with calcium deposites all over. She is one of our favorite chickens and it was aweful to see her egg production go down and her start to lay soft shelled eggs. I knew something was missing from her diet and she needed a boost after the long hard winter we had. I came across this and started to read other review of people who were having the same issues. Once I saw this was more like a supplement and not feed I was even more elated knowing this would be good for my whole flock and last a while. And it was worth every penny. By the time I got my bag my girl had complety stopped laying after 2 soft shelled eggs. I dumped a couple table spoons right on top of the feed and it was gone by the next morning, so I knew the girls liked it. And the next day I say a beutiful blue egg from my girl that was having issues. It was the best egg she had ever layer me. Still some calcium deposites, but the brittle ceramic sound the shells usually make was gone. The whole flock is eating it and egg production is way up even despite our cool rainy spring. I am sold on this an will continue to feed it to my flock from now on. Happy to report my girl has been laying perfect blue eggs with almost no calcium desposites. My old gals are even laying me eggs daily wich has always been an everyother day event for them. Amazing product!!! Oh and the eggs look and taste amazing!

Chicken loved it. Quality of egg produce straight away. For me the only problem is price and cost of delivery. Product itself would definitely recommend if price was responsible for size of bag.

I used to have trouble with my laying hens producing eggshells that were soft or misshapen. Since I have been feeding them the Mana Pro my hens continue to have a productive life as egg layers much longer. I continue to pay the price for this supplement because of the quality of the eggs that I receive in return.

Not seen a difference in the eggs after a month but still hoping.

We have 37 chickens/rooster and another 7 geese plus 4 ducks. All are layers except the rooster. We have been providing our own eggs forever and are very knowledgeable as we raise our flocks from chicks, ducklings and goslings. We have had 'dry' egg seasons, and super plentiful ones. Every time we encounter a slower production rate, we increase our usage of the Omega Egg Maker, and the results are instantaneous with all of the birds. We will see anywhere from 5 or more chicken eggs and 2 or 3 more geese. Ducks seem consistent regardless, but the shells do appear harder with less occlusions like bumps or spots. Some of our chickens are 7 to 8 years old, and using the Omega mix actually encourages them to continue to lay eggs. Out of the 16 older hens, we can get 10 to 12 eggs a day. That is amazing! We do not use the quantity recommended on the bag. We are more sparse, which encourages our hens to seek it out instead of wasting it or walking toward the veggie bits and pieces we include. Chickens are a greedy bunch, so many time less is more of a benefit than overkill and wastage. It's the same with mealy worms. Less is more. Overall, this mix is a wonderful nutritious boost to our hens, and all of our birds benefit with much healthier eggs and more routine laying habits. Consistency and routine is the key to successful egg laying, and this nutritional boost is truly a god-send. We had a neighbor try it, but she went way overboard with the proportions for her 4 hens, and it did not benefit her at all. Once we explained to use it sparingly, it made all the difference. Now she's getting the desired results too.
