Q: My pencil has become dull. How do I sharpen it?

Besides the sharpeners described by so many, I also use a piece of card stock or heavey paper from flyers or product instructions etc.. The pencil is very soft so it dulls quickly, If you sharpen it every time that happens (like for doing the other eyebrow), you will rapidly run out of pencil. When it starts to get dull, I roll the pencil as I scrape the point along the card stock to make a sharper point. It takes a bit of practice but it helps you get a perfect sharp point and that allows you to make sharp lines. I find that I end up sharppening the pencil about every other time I use it. I also use that trick for the soft eyeliner pencil I use on my lower lash.

I'm not sure, but the color is great and it lasts all day.

Hello - This eyebrow pencil is NOT automatic - you must self sharpen which is quite easily done with an inexpensive eyebrow pencil sharpener. For the quality & price of this item, it is a great value. I am happy with my purchase.
